@@25yoanaful no, it doesn't have any i have read the manga and nope they don't race at night. because the drone can't deliver a proper stream to the viewers, keisuke mentioned it when teaching his own student how to take corners faster like takumi and kanata in a toyota supra he also mentions that "there are only 2 people who are faster than me Takumi Fukiwara and Kanata Katigiri"

This is mainly said in reference to standard 2D animation, but they definitely put more attention to the animation of the 86 in the part of the episode shown here. More reflections off the car's body and even some lens flare.

If you look closely at the second corner you can even see the left edges of the tyres are lifting slightly off the ground. I've never seen that shown in a animation before.

As a sim racer, i can confirm the "fujiwara zone" affect is real. Sometimes, the opponent pulls away so fast it appears as if they have dissapeared into the next corner.

For context: The “Fujiwara Zone” is neither more nor less than being one with the car, to the point of reaching speeds that are unthinkable from said car from the point of view of a third party. And considering Kanata managed to do that on just his second or third day with the 86... that's quite the feat, and it only means he is a driver that should be feared.

Remember Kanata is 19 here. Older and more experienced in racing than Dakumi at 5th and Final stage in ID. Kanata has been racing throughout his youth in karting and won multiple F4 championships and has had more seat time and training under Dagumi himself. At this point in the story, Kanata is a faster and more well rounded driver than Project D. He also had a bigger hardware handicap with his car vs his adversaries than Dagumi did.
