Since E applies on-hit effects, the buff to the lichbane spellblade proc is pretty big right now. The attack speed steroid probably makes your e-w-getout trade combo extra fast in a very sneaky way. I also wonder how the attack speed steroid interacts with the physical damage aspect of her ult (it scales more with bonus attack speed), though that's probably niche. Overall stat buffs to Lich and stat nerfs to Nashor's make it all make sense. To say nothing of the fact that there's so much more cc and mobility in the game these days that it makes it hard to get off a full ult to really take advantage of a bunch of on-hit effects either.

@@thierrydebrunhoff5869 not always, e w q in that order leaves you vulnerable to autos on the way out or cc into death, a better quick trade is q e w picking up both daggers instantly and then using e out, a better slow combo for ad kat is e auto w auto q auto e auto. Unless you're sure you can kill instantly you should always save your q when e w r that way you can use q on their way out and follow with e. It's also not totally necessary to land your e on the enemy for lich bane since her passive also procs on-hits. You can also Q champion and E onto your own minions to poke in lane with sudden impact early game

TF is one of kats biggest counters due to his gold card specifically just shutting down your kit instantly. ROA banshees and you would do nothing ever to him. this tf didnt know what he was doing at all.

Katarina is in the same bucket as Rengar and Riven - someone has a hard-on for her and they'll never actually do something to make her balanced. No energy, CDs reset because reasons, can do abilities in parallel and without stopping her movement (like Vel'Koz) and ult deals a massive amount of damage while triggering every item in the game. I'm a little confused on why you wouldn't do Shadowflame. It's basically collector when they get below 35% for Katarina.

tf should literally never lose to a kat, you outrange her and oneshot the wave with Q so you can just save your w for stun anytime she tries to engage and the atk spd steroid on his E makes you lose quick trades usually since he just autos faster than you early, plus his passive means he gains more gold than you even if you just go even in cs and have no kills in lane. That TF played it the absolute worst way possible and was griefing it

if you ever want to play kat more one tip i found really useful that really upped my damage output was making sure that you e onto the person wait for the automatic auto attack to go off and then walk to the dagger, it adds like 240 damage early game to your combo's auto's are really important
