Just to note in that first Kat/Maokai gank, Maokai griefed Kat so hard there and lost them the kill by Qing Hwei out of Kat Q dagger, she would have E + passive proc'd the Hwei again, + gotten an additional E, so Maokai griefed them out of nearly 300 damage with that Q alone.

I’ve watched all the T1A games so far and almost all the wins have been thru their botlane hardcarrying and most games come down to their jungler and top laner running it the fuck down. Impossible for Smash and Rekkles to have impact if they’re getting run down by fed enemy rumble or vi every other game. IMO Rekkles and Smash have been impressive so far, not saying they’re perfect but they’re holding their own in most games.

@@AAA-mk7ge They're playing well mechanically but not macro wise. They're are 1000 good mechanically bot lanes that could do what rekkles and smash are doing. The reason why they lose out to other teams is because they don't have any map impact. Their leads dont transfer into snowballing the rest of the map is my point. I've only ever seen rekkles leave lane for rift and I dont think I've ever seen their bot duo rotate around map to leverage leads. All they do is win lane (or go even) and then just show up to teamfights and hope they have better hands. Not saying its their fault just that the reason they lose is because not a single player has map impact. Their team looks lost and just waits for teamfights. Someone (other than adc and top) is going to have to assume a leader role and force proactive plays. And I dont think u can shift blame away from any of them bc none of them are doing it. If rekkles stepped up they would look 100% better. Same if mid or jgl did too. My point is they're a team they win and lose as a team.

If you are going to pick KAT into Hwei (kat destroys this matcup btw) and you have Maokai jungle, why would you not go dark seal with 3 potions and electrocute or conquerer? Why not go for complete snowball, you are useless if your behind anyway, just have maokai perma camp this lane and win 2v2's, if kat gets one solo kill then she can win lane vs ranged matchup anyway. Things I've learned about T1A through the season is: - Guwon, stay away from bot lane. Smash and Rekky win in isolation and bad things only happen when you go bot. - The coaching staff run it down in champ select because they still don't realize their mid and top combined play about 3.5 champs. You can't leave them to 2nd round of picks. I literally can't imagine a mid pick that would be worse than Katarina in the 1st game. They've spent the whole season being terrified of picking AP champs that aren't Ori/Neeko or a top laner... Then they go straight to Kata? What are they smoking? xD Like if you wanted an AP assassin, literally every single other AP assassin in the game would've been better. - Ban K'sante. Dal can't play it and T1A can't play against it. - Don't put Guwon on play makers. He won't make the play. Liteally any champ is more useful than his Lee was in team fights in the 2nd game. He just missed a Q, and then did nothing. He didn't ult, didn't even W a team mate to give a shield. Nothing. Put the man on Brand or something so if he even just point and clicks R he would be infinitely more useful. OR, put him on Evelynn: so when he's standing around literally doing nothing, at least the enemy team will be scared of the invisible Eve popping out.

I think Renata B2/B3 first game for T1 might've won them the game - Rekless is more comfortable (and overall better) at ranged supps; Renata could first item Mikaels and get an option to play bot -> mid (and contest drakes) if the lane was stable enough + her W could give Aatrox/Kat enough uptime to win fights

Don't get it wrong, Katarina is arguably one of the strongest assassins in the entire game. T1A just drafted poorly, Poby did not play her well and their sidelanes got omega gapped. The pick is legit, specially when paired with utility junglers like Sej/Mao/Rell vs immobile control mages and "divable" botlanes. Besides that, the player must play her like a one-trick to make the pick work.

cuz it spoils the results when you see the runtime. if team a won the first game and you saw that the runtime is only for 2 games, then you already know that team a won the next round, and it sucks out all of the excitement from watching it. some people watch for the results while others watch for the plays - if knowing the outcome of the match lessens the quality of your viewing experience, thats what the anti spoiler plant is for.
