Hey what’s up man! Just the rhythm section of this track alone is phenomenal. I could listen to that section of this track on repeat by itself. It’s funny cause i was expecting something completely different from them I thought they were a heavy Death Metal type of band lol. Katatonia imo are a band you listen to when you need a break from metal, but still want metal. No matter how heavy they get, its somewhat soothing to listen to. I remember this album being on my playlist for years.

I decided on a whim to listen to these guys last night, the last day of July, saw they had a song called July, and saw you guys did this video. Crazy. Anyway, today I listened to two full albums. It's interesting, I don't think I've heard any of their heavy death metal stuff but the proggy, more atmospheric metal is pretty good. A lot of the songs blend together but it's good background music to vibe to. I'll keep listening.

This album and night is the new day are my fave albums but this song is the more "mainstream friendly, or radio friendly song" it wasn't one of my faves of the album. ..... Interesting fact couple members of bloodbath are in this band as well Also the new Cattle Decapitation - scourge of the offspring is very rad curious to see what you think of it. Cheers!

Not everybody gets this band, I have been a Rush fan since 1974 that being said my second fave band is Katatonia. Frankly I think both bands especially Katatonia are way above either one of you 2's pay grade. But you are entitled to you're opinion however misguided it may be.
