I can't stop listening to this, or even watching it. These two girls are beyond beautiful. You can feel everything, even if you don't know what it is you're feeling. Even the smile exchanges that they share make this song that much more beautiful. There's nothing like finding new music like this, you wonder how you went your whole life before without it. I grew up in Peterborough. My wife and my father both went to PCVS. I hope you girls realize that most people go their whole lives and never make anything quite so beautiful as this. Makes me proud of where I come from.

I was napping in my new apartment, very far away from my own Canadian hometown. I was woken up by my neighbor, who was blasting this Neko Case song on the other side of the wall. It's so beautiful, I had my ear pressed against the wall hoping to catch a lyric, looked her up, and found this stunning cover--I'll thank my neighbor next time when I see him. Well done, ladies.

Echoing other comments here--there occasionally are times when I discover something truly remarkable and this is on my all time short list. The skillful audio production conveys perfectly the depth of your stunning voices and the gorgeous tone Kate is pulling from that uke. The video adds real character to the performance as well. I was lucky enough to listen to this the first time with good headphones. Like jmsotak, I won`t soon forget that. Thank you for posting. Please continue to do so.

I first watched this about a year ago and still visit it every once in awhile to watch because I like it so much. I wish the girl on the left could tell us what she was trying to not giggle about the entire time, I love watching you fight it the entire time. both have great voices

It is a place that welcomes and celebrates the range of ways that kids bring to discovering themselves Watching my own daughter come out of this building after classes for so many years, each time reminded me to celebrate the richness that there is within our society and how fortunate we are to be able to rejoice in that diversity. Once in a while I stumble onto something really special here. What you both and the person who recorded this have done is inspiring: you captured something so pure and honest and beautiful. It gave me goosebumps and I will never forget listening to it the first time. The video adds such depth to the performance for me. I graduated from a high school not unlike this one in Mississauga (C.P.S.S) and I can say that attending a high school with a regional arts program has changed and enriched my life. I spent grade 9 at another school and in comparison, I wish that everyone could have gone to a school like P.C.V.S. because the passion of the students and faculty make for an amazing learning environment that carries over into other non-arts subject areas as well. GOOD LUCK! I hope you can turn this thing around.

Having attended PCVS, transferring there after a not so enjoyable atmosphere at another high school in grade 9, I can say the sense of school community fostered at the school was unmatched by any school I've had experience with. I am proud to call it my high school. It is also an economic necessity for the downtown. City of Peterborough has spent the last 20 years trying to rejuvenate the downtown, and when I come to visit it surely has come a long way, without the student pop. it may die slowly
