Unfortunately, due to the writers strike, it's very possible that we won't be having s3 until 2024. In a perfect world, they would be starting writing new stories for s3, but since the strike is ongoing, they are not doing that, so delay in writing + filming is more than expected.

​@@Anonymous-sm9ld a good amount of the argument for the strike is how they get paid for repeats. their contracts only include when it's shown on actual TV rather than streaming, so they're not getting paid for that... the SAG (actors) union go into negotiation next week to discuss basically the same thing too (amongst the rest of contract stuff - all these unions have negotiations every few years).... but studios have been really screwing over the writers on conditions and are now saying AI can pick up the slack and stuff, so they can use fewer writers over all so shows that used to have 15-20 writers have like 5 at the moment

It’s hardly to tell because of the WGA strike that’s still ongoing. If this continues (the strike) it’s highly possible that we won’t get season 3 until 2024 😭
