This album gets better and better with age. Like all Kate Bush. Timeless and gorgeous.

Merci pour toutes ces Merveilleuses illustrations de Jeanne d' Arc ! Cette Chanson est si émouvante ( comme tout ce que compose Kate Bush ).

The song has a very relaxed funk to it. Kate Bush is great.

I had to listen to this album 3 or 4 times before I could make my mind up if I liked it or not? Eventually I decided I did, & now appreciate it more each time I listen to the album.

Kate seems to have gone off on a tangent. Wheres the lyrics of the 80s? "There goes a tenner" "Sat in your lap"...Every song from each album a classic!

I’m a huge fan of Kate and have been so for years. But I feel like the songs on this album don’t quite come together. Like for example, her voice here sounds too unsteady/wobbly and her singing feels a bit lazy like her heart/mind isn’t completely invested in the music. This problem started showing to some extent on the “Sensual World” album and became quite prominent here on “Aerial.” However, I have to say I love what came after in “50 Words for Snow.” Even though the quality of her voice has declined over the years due to obvious ageing and her new stuff don’t seem as edgy as her oldies, the kind of craftsmanship exemplified by her early music has never been compromised.

I guess what I’m saying is a lot of the stuff on “Aerial” feel like random tuneless humming, whereas a young Kate would come up with a complex melody line rendered all the more potent by her beautiful warblelike singing.

@@gavinyuangao4366 Very true. 50 Words for Snow is even worse: sound tapestries with muddled vocals and gimmicks.
