Leave her hair alone! Nothing wrong with it on Angels or any other time. She is beautiful. Period! More importantly, Kate Jackson is a wonderful actress that should have been up there with the top actors. She's my favorite actress.

Kate Jackson was always very professional. I miss seeing her on TV. It never seems she’s acting. It always seems real and natural. She’s very gifted. A sweet soul.

Crazy that 2 former Charlie's Angels, both of whom quit, 😮made such significant films - Kate in "Making Love" rekeased in 1982. And Farrah in "The "Burning Bed" in 1984. There was so much more to these beautiful women!!

A film that was ahead of its time. And certainly overlooked released in February. Bravo to all actors & creators behind this gem. I was sad, & equally sad to see that fantastic home have to be given up. But seriously, this is a film that still says so much 40 years on.

Waaay ahead of it's time. Being Gay in 1982 was highly offensive to 80% of the general poulation. 10 years later being Gay was widely accepted by most people even if they didn't like it.. what a huge difference 10 years can make.

It's seems so strange today, to hear how bobbie comes across. Thank God! We're moving through so much ignorance of sexuality. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and this movie was so important, for showing gay life. Love Kate Jackson!!!!

Good interview. Interesting questions except for the one where Bobbie Wygant mentions Kate's divorce to Andrew Stevens. That was tactless and unnecessary. Other than that I liked it. Kate Jackson is awesome. What a wonderful and talented actress!! On a side note: While her hair is absolutely lovely here I still think Kate had the best hair on Charlie's Angels. So beautiful, cool and yes great hair unlike the boring Barbie doll hair the others had. Her hairstyle helped balance out the show. Check out Kate's beautiful hair in "Angels in Chains", "Circus of Terror" etc. and the Mike Douglas interview with Kate in a red blouse and the most gorgeous hair. She sure was a stunning woman in her hey day.

The cut away questions that Wygant does after the interview is considered insincere today.

I remember watching this Making Love movie on HBO years ago. It was a very good and sweet movie. But in the end, when the Claire character speaks with her ex husband who is with someone else, you can see she, the character, is still in love with her gay husband, even though he has moved onto a gay relationship with a man. Very touching and heartbreaking for sure.

Sure she still loved him. I know men who are gay that try to portray a straight image. It really is sad.

Kate's hair looked even better in Charlie‘s Angels. She had the silkiest, shiniest, playful sexy hair.

Yeah but I wish she didn’t cut it shorter It looks great here And in the rookies and dark shadows it was even longer Then in The scarecrow and mrs king series it was kinda a permanent style curlier

Loved her Angels hairstyle. Much more sexy and cool as opposed to the dull barbie doll styles all the others had.

@@ninagill1407 I never liked the perm on Scarecrow and Mrs. King but it was the 80s. Fashion and hairstyle wise the worst decade. The reason why Kate cut her hair short in 1985 was that the perm had damaged her hair. Thank goodness she let it grow again and by the end of the 80s she had her beautiful hair straight again.

Kate showed she was a fine actress here. Wished she had done more dramatic roles. She was to have played Meryl Streep's role in Kramer Vs. Kramer also, but she was still under contract as Aaron Spelling's chief Angel.

This was, perhaps, Ms. Jackson's attempt to be seen as a serious theatrical film actress, since she was not able to do KRAMER VS. KRAMER 3 years earlier in the role that eventually went to Meryl Streep.

why were you watching it.
@For4Ever-pm6yj4 ай бұрын
Kate wanted to do Kramer vs Kramer. But Angels producer Aaron Spelling had done Kate dirty. Here's what happened: Though the producers of Kramer changed the movie’s schedule three times to accommodate Kate's Charlie’s Angels schedule, Aaron Spelling was determined not to let her do the movie. He switched her Angels schedule every time so the new Kramer schedule didn’t work. Finally he told the producers, “If she does the movie, it will never see the light of day!” because he’d file an injunction against them. Spelling was afraid if any of the actresses did a movie, they would think they were movie stars and leave the show. How wrong he was! If he had allowed Kate to take that golden opportunity, she would have stayed with the show as long as it lasted. He needlessly, intentionally kept Kate from doing Kramer. So she decided she would finish that third season, then leave the show. She had fulfilled her contract. Kate was outstanding in Making Love. She would have been stellar in Kramer, too.
