Jaclyn owes her career to Kate, co-creator of Charlie's Angels. Sadly Jaclyn couldn't save Charlie's Angels after Kate left. Kate was the only Angel who was nominated for the Emmys for her work on Angels. Even twice. She got the role for Kramer vs. Kramer because she was so good. But the Angels producers forced her to turn it down. However, Kate proved what an accomplished actress she was in Making Love. Wow! Amazing!!

THE MOVIE 'MAKING LOVE' WAS A GREAT MOVIE AND MRS. JACKSON WAS GREAT IN IT. KATE GOT THE PART OF 'KRAMER VS KRAMER' BUT THE HONCHOS OF CHARLIES ANGELS WOULDN'T LET HER LEAVE EARLY TO MAKE THE MOVIE, SO STREEP GOT THE PART. THIS STARTED KATE TO LEAVE CHARLES ANGELS AFTER THE 3RD SEASON. KATE GOT ANOTHER SERIES THAT RAN 7 YEARS.
