Yes.. compared to Letterman and Conan, at least he asked good questions and gave her a chance to answer. He wasn't silly and was more respectful.

Yes, he gave her the dignity and respect she worked so hard for. She really worked to prove to us/her fans, that she is more than a beer commercial girl. Long live Farrah Fawcett

Ryan killed Farrah slowly over time. Aggravation, stress, heartbreak...It just goes to show that being with an abusive psycho can shorten your life. According to Farrah's divorce filing, Lee Majors was physically abusive. She was smart, gorgeous and a great actress, but she had a hard time choosing decent men.

I agree with you. If you watch all her interviews you can time it to when she got loopy. I don't know the exact year or years but I'd say mid to late 90s. Please correct me if I'm off. She turned into a distracted loopy lady.

Absolutely, Ryan O'Neal is why she died so young. Stay away from dickheads girls. Look after number one, don't please men unless they are deserving!

@@gotohoward she was smarter than you give her credit. She was a smart business woman, especially with her phot images, career and contracts. She was not loopy, she just was very feminine and liked to laugh and have fun on talk shows.

@@arriettywalton1420 Farrah died from HPV anal cancer. It was an aggressive stage 4 cancer and she had tumors in her liver, as well. She was caring for her dying mother in Houston and found that she had blood in her stools. Stress can play a factor, but no research has proved Ryan O'Neal is the stress level to cause cancer. Her entire family has died of cancer. Nobody knows why some survive and others don't. Anal cancer can be cured, but Farrah's was very aggressive and once she had stage 4, not much can be done other than treatment to prolong life. Until Farrah, anal cancer was not discussed or even checked routinely in a doctors exam. Because of her cancer battle, Farrah helped lift the stigma of HPV anal cancer. Ryan was no angel, but Farrah didn't put up with his shit and fought him like any strong woman would do. And she was from Texas. Farrah and Ryan could love one another one day and fight the next day. She even fought with him in the car and tried to kick him out, while he was driving. She was independent, lived by herself and didn't rely on a man for anything. She left him out of her will. She's no fool.

Farrah Fawcett is absolutely a beautiful stunning woman. I saw her in two different movies I believe one was The Burning Bed and another movie I just can't remember the name of it something about poor little rich girl she was fantastic in both movies. I don't think people gave her enough credit for her acting abilities. She seems like a wonderful loving kind individual who ended up with Ryan O'Neal that was the beginning of the end for Farrah Fawcett I can't stand. Ryan O'neal He has destroyed his children's lives and probably put Farrah Fawcett through hell. You don't see natural beauties like her today. she doesn't have botox, lip injections, boob jobs and God knows what else stars of today due to their faces. she seems like an extremely loving mother, wonderful friend. She just seems to be an all-around sweet person. I hope her son can get it together despite having Ryan O'Neal as his biological father. Gone way too soon rest in peace

If you love Farrah as l do... You HAVE to read the book "My Journey With Farrah" by Alana Stewart (Rod Stewart's ex-wife)... It's a BEAUTIFUL tribute to Farrah by her best friend; the horrific but courageous battle she fought but lost to cancer... YOU WON'T BE SORRY... ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ!! It's sad that she didn't chose surgery and went the alternative route. It would be hard to grasp having a colostomy bag attached to u for life. She was still so vital and one of America's beauties, colostomy bag didn't meld with her image.

Thank you for the info , I will check out the story on Lee. He should also write a bio sometime, but I know he has remarried since Farrah. They were both handsome men, I think Farrah was sort of innocent and taken by them both. She was always just a good girl from Texas who loved her parents. There was a kindness in her eyes , I rarely see today in the new stars. I surely miss her and that beautiful smile..Wonder if Redmond will ever get his life together. I hope so..

Thanks for the message, yes I have the Howard Stern interview. I saw it when it first aired. She was great in it and handled howards questions well. He was a bad flirt with her and she gave him a kiss. I think Farrah was sad in her late years because of the problems with Ryan. God Bless her.

Wow I just googled the People magazine interview of Lee Majors from 79. He was still sadly wishing Farrah would come back to him and in love with her all the while Ryan was still pretending to be his friend. That was shocking Lee didn't seem to have any idea it was going on right under his nose. I think she should have stayed with Lee. Ryan was a sneaky home wrecker.

@@sheliafrench7857 Lee Majors was the one who told him to call Farrah since they were separated about to divorce. Lee said he didn't think Ryan would actually do it. So why send the man to call up and ask your soon-to-be-ex out if you didn't want them to hook up? Especially with an abusive Lady's man like Ryan. Lee's interference got in the way of her having a Happy Love-life.

Lee did NOT cheat on FF. Lee was controlling and a bit dull. FF wanted to pursue her career whereas Lee wanted FF home to cook his dinners. I have read a few articles about this. For one, google "THE LONELINESS OF THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN." Ryan was exciting and funny in comparison. FF made a bad choice. Ryan was a user and a druggie. Poor FF.

Ryan was a horrible person. Thankfully, FF had a true love, Greg Lott. They were a couple back in their Texas U days. Once FF got big, they lost contact. But they rekindled in the last 11 years of her life. I believe this story, since FF left nothing to Ryan in her will, but left Lott 0.5M. Google "Farrah Fawcett had secret end-of-life 11-year affair" and "Greg Lott".

David Brenner was such a good interviewer, very relaxed. I don't think Farrah Fawcett was the easiest person to interview either. She was rather uptight and unsure of herself in interviews. There was something that seemed rather "put on" about her, or forced in some way. Kind of sad really.

I wonder if Johnny Carson held a grudge against David Brenner for getting his own show, like he did Joan Rivers?

I believe David asked his permission first for Nightlife. I know Robert Klein did and even had a proviso that his show Robert Klein Time would never run opposite Carson’s Tonight Show in any market. It’s a good question about Brenner as neither of the shows I mentioned ran very long. I seem to remember Brenner being contrite to JC after his cancellation. Not that it was right but Joan was J C’s perm fill in hostess and she never ran it by him beforehand( although her intell revealed she was not on his replacement list. I have been a pretty avid student of stand up and it’s history for many years, and read all the celeb bios, but there is always a chance I’ve missed a few deets over the years. ✌️🎭🎬

I wonder if Lee was good to her? I never hear much about that. Maybe he cheated on her? I think it was very dirty of Ryan to steal his best friends wife like that. Rayn was a player, he'd been around alot in hollywood. I think he was handsome but unstable.

I have seen Greg Lott on interviews and wasn't sure what to make of him. But his story sounds true, he has alot of pictures of them together. They were in college together. I think he was her first love before Lee Majors. Greg said he was going to write a book , I wish he would soon. I admit Ryan does not seem to have been good for Farrah. His book was good. He at least admited alot of his faults. I think she would have been better with Lee or Greg.
