Kate Joins Royal Family on Palace Balcony for Trooping the Colour

The Princess of Wales joins the Royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the RAF flypast as they celebrate the King’s official birthday.

Please note a HUGELY important fact - PRINCESS CATHERINE IS THE COLONEL OF THE IRISH GUARDS! SHE WAS THERE TO TAKE THEIR SALUTE! Her role as Colonel was why she made such an effort to be there. She stood up at the window whenever they passed + saluted them at the end. She was just as much there for them as William was for the Welsh Guards, or Edward for the Scottish Guards or Princess Ann for whatever her regiment is.
