I do wish people would realize that praising and complimenting members of the Royal Family while having a dig at Harry and Meghan is actually an insult to the BRF. It’s saying they’re only good in comparison. I know you, and so many of the commenters here who did that, don’t mean it that way, but it is the effect. H&M are no longer Royals and have effectively divorced themselves from the family - therefore are no longer members of the family by their own design. Supporting the British Royal Family is about the Royals & their actual, active extended family, not how they are in contrast to their two worst members. Especially when they have nothing to do with each other. Families who have ex-family members like H&M don’t continuously compare themselves to them. Frankly, they don’t even continue to think about them. We shouldn’t either. The comparisons are for H&M to suffer, not the Royals.

I feel sorry for you if an adult discussion like this is not the norm in your experience. I grew up assuming that eating meals as a family and associated discussion was the norm, only to find out as I got into my teens that eating meals as a family wasn’t the norm among families of friends and schoolmates. After most dinners, conversation lasted ling after everyone finished eating. When I went to college, discussions among family was what I missed most. When I became a parent, my spouse & I continued this practice of family meals with the new family we established. I have found that family meals are even more not the norm today than when I was young. Interacting in a family is the first manner in which humans begin learning and integrating socializing skills. To the extent there is less interaction in a family environment, socialization becomes more challenging. The fact that so much interaction among people occurs by typing into a device and not speaking directly to other humans, the fact that socialization skills are lacking by many.

Not sure if anyone would agree with me.. but I suddenly feel a sense of comfort and joy watching this.. The Princess Royal reminds me so much of the late queen. I feel she will live long in her children and grandchildren etc. Such a beautiful dynamic between all three interviewees… superb podcast!! 🙌🏾

Agree100%.. & some of the little asides, show that they've been a close knit family throughout.. (e.g. Princess Anne talking about playing & chasing William when he was younger etc)

And also talking about Potato Sac races at Balmoral dragging the kids along lol must be wonderful when they are all away together just getting to relax and enjoy each other. Sadly this was a somber trip to Balmoral for them all…..

The Princess Royal is brilliant! The depth of her knowledge and articulate comments are second to none, and she is so humble as to not boast about her knowledge.

She is such an underrated star. Check out her interview with Mr Parkinson ❤ back in the 80s, it really shows her wit and style, so wonderful ❤

SHE should have been queen. Cath is waving her foot constantly because she's not getting a word in. Long hair isn't enough to compete with knowledge and flair.

I watched more interviews with her and your comment could consistently fit them all. Marvelous woman.

Moving her foot perhaps due to nerves. She also swings her head a lot but I do think she’s doing better at public speaking. She definitely cannot compare to Princess Anne wit, confidence and intellect. Yet Catherine is representing her country as best as she can and it seems sincere.

Princess Anne is a remarkable woman and you can see the influence from Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth in her so profoundly. And to see William and Catherine interact in such a relaxed way was fantastic. These kind of scenarios where they can be themselves and laugh would be good for all the Royals to connect with all of us. Thank You for doing this at a time where we , all around the world, are thinking about the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.

This is why we do need the Royals. I’m a millennial and person of color and I believe in keeping the good parts of our traditions alive. I love their humility, their vocabulary, their manners, the class and style. We should keep these examples around. We know what the alternatives are 🫤

Oh how I loved this podcast!! I love how unscripted it is. Princess Kate having trained with England Rugby, Princess Anne, driving F1 car, Mike Tindal having high-jump record, Prince Willuam trying to beat Italian dad at school's athletics!! I loved, loved, loved this. What an awesome royal family!!! 😍😍😍😍❤

Excellent podcast! Watched it 5 times! The more I watch the funnier it gets. What an amazing group together. My favorite 2 parts are Princess Catherine’s reaction to Mike high jump skills - you can tell she will make him high jump for their next get together. Challenge accepted! And second; Princess Anne’s “I was brilliant!” As a mom to two athletes 😂 I would vote this as the podcast of the year! Maybe decade!

@@yves2694 I was a little surprised how Catherine cut Ann off. Catherine needs to relax, she looks very tense to me. Nevertheless, this is a great podcast, enjoyed it throughout. Mike inviting her mother-in-law is telling us a lot about the family.

@@veraboltonCatherine is naturally shy, she gets nervous, she can't relax, that's her personality and character. She's still awesome.
@verabolton Жыл бұрын
@@jojijosette5946 What's your point? I think I said the same: she needs to relax 🙄 I wouldn't call her shy at all, she's actually an extremely confident woman. However, she seems to be very conscious about her appearance which gives her a lot of unnecessary anxiety. She should learn from Ann, who won the heart of the nation not with her appearance

This is fantastic - not one of the Royals are trying to be front & centre, they have an obvious love & are very easy with each other. Mike T clearly fits in well & has a great relationship with his Mother-in-Law & his wife’s cousins. No egos, just mutual respect for each other. William & Catherine are knowledgeable of the sports they represent & have a great sense of fun. Literally quietly going about their duties & promoting the Royal Family. Well done everyone. 🌹🌹❤️❤️
