I love her slow tempo , the singing in her pianissimo expressed in the most sweet way, you can really enjoy so many details and dynamics that in other interpreters they are not audible.
@axyspianostudio Жыл бұрын
3:36 honestly the best transition to that section I've ever heard. That first b-flat wasn't given a hint of an accent or emphasized like how most pianists play it, instead, she played, what sounds like, a diminuendo from pianissimo. Wow. In terms of musicality, this is one of the best recordings I've ever heard ngl

I'll never listen to 7:34 to 8:03 the same way again. She gives the section time to breathe and flow, and gives every chord time to shine. In other (but also noteworthy) interpretations, it's usually overlooked or sped up, that part. Her phrasing is ethereal.

That b flat at the end of the chromatic litterally gave chills down my spine, its such a rich and deep tone omg :0
@charlesdavis7087 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you 100%...! Her next big step is in learning... when to breathe. The control of the breath means being able to close and/or open the entire aura with the composers intensions. Highly intuitive lesson. Intuition and prayer and then self-evaluation are always necessary. Don't you think?

The tempo was well-chosen; given Chopin specialised in packing the emotions of a lifetime into miniature forms, a slower-than-usual tempo allows us to better appreciate the monumental nature of the work, for longer.

LET'S DONT HOPE SHE BECOMES A LEGEND TOO SOON. LEGENDS ARE DISEASED "LIVING LEGENDS." CHECK A DICTIONARY. (ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, YOU MISSPELLED THE WORD "DICTIONARY!"😫). GO LOOK THE WORD UP IN A DICTIONARY, AND DEVOTE SOME TIME TO A REMEDIAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE SPELLING COURSE INSTEAD OF FOMENTING ARGUMENTS WITH TOTAL STRANGERS TO YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

@@miltonmoore8369 I do not care about your dictionnary problem. And I do not need to wait that the girl is dead. In my ears, in my brain, she IS a legend already.
@miltonmoore83692 жыл бұрын
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARE, BUT MY COMMENT WAS SENT TO THE PERSON WHO ERRONEOUSLY REFERRED TO THE PIANIST AS A "LEGEND" AND I VERY DIPLOMATICALLY AND WITH A TOUCH OF HUMOR EXPLANED THAT LEGENDS ARE IMPORTANT PERSONAGES WHO ARE DECEASED. SO YOU COME OUT OF NOWHERE AND ATTACK ME LIKE THE CLASSIC CRETINESQUE, EMOTIONALLY DRIVEN, HOT-HEADED TROLL THAT YOU ARE WITH AN OFFICIOUS, SNIDE REMARK ABOUT HOW YOU "DON'T CARE" AND INANELY AND FALSELY STATE THAT I HAVE A "DICTIONARY PROBLEM", WHEN IT IS YOU WHO HAVE THE PROBLEM OF BEING TOO BULL-HEADED TO CONSULT A DICTIONARY. (INCIDENTALLY, YOU MISSPELLED THE WORD "DICTIONARY"!😫 YOU NEED TO ENROLL IN A REMEDIAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE SPELLING COURSE RATHER THAN PESTERING TOTAL STRANGERS TO YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA WHO MAKE UTTERLY INNOCUOUS, BENEVOLENTLY- PHRASED INFORMATIVE COMMENTS DIRECTED AT OTHERS.

She performs this wonderful Ballade No. 1 by Chopin, extraordinarily well, Kate Liu is a very young outstanding pianist, she plays the piano with great serenity and security, clear and precise notes, perfect nuances, she understands Chopin like few others, the most beautiful The interpretations that I have heard of this excellent Ballade are by Krystian Zimerman and Kate Liu, without exaggeration.
