This is such a great story. She wasn't invited, but went to the draft to hang out with her best friend Caitlin Clark. But not only did she wind up getting drafted, but earned a roster spot on defending champion Aces. I was really hoping the fever with pick her with their second pick, not because she was CC's teammate in Iowa, but because she's a great baller. PERIOD.

awesome! I love following all the Hawkeye players (men and women) who make it to the pro ranks in their sports. I really don't have favorite pro teams, I just root for the team that has a hawkeye on their roster, or in some situations, whichever team has the most hawkeyes on the roster.
