my mom had emergency bowel surgery because of a blockage which was abdominal surgery she was up walking around 3 hours later went down 2 flights of stairs.. fast forward to about 2 months ago she had liver surgery to remove a tumor.. about a day later she walked down SIX flights of stairs.. shes a wonder woman!! i wish all the best for princess kate

I am glad that I found this video on my KZbin feed!! This is a very informative coverage of Princess Catherine and King Charles's health info. (Thank you). And yall have obtained some excellent pictures of King Charles for this video too! I am glad that Kate seems to be okay. (We hope). It has been just eating at me for the last 24 hours, wondering how she's doing there in her hospital stay experience. And I was glad and relieved to hear from some of the British news channels that her husband Prince William was there with her at her bedside. I was envisioning that maybe Catherine's hospital room was big enough for a couch and a chair, so that William could have spent the night with her. It's always good to have family there with the patient, visiting them regularly. (For my last hosptal stay, they put me in a large room with a big couch, and an easy recliner chair, and a fully disabled equipped bathroom with shower, and with a beautiful huge window view!). They let my daughter stay overnight too. Since my daughter is my caregiver also, she was a welcome presence for me there, to help with my personal care. I could not stop wondering about Kate, and how she has been handling it, in her hospital bed? And I also have been wondering about how Catherine is handling having all of the nurses helping her with her personal care. I know that she's going to need the help, especially while she's healing. And even when she comes home from the hospital, she's probably going to need round-the-clock caregivers, and nurses, so they can administer meds for her. Including pain meds, and possibly antibiotics, for prevention of any infection from the surgury. Every time I woke up during the night and early morning hours, I kept thinking about her, and constant wondering and worrying!

I think it was a strategy to take a bit of the speculation away from Kate’s issue, which is much more serious considering the recovery time, and simultaneously shed a light on prostate problems which are fairly common in men but carry a lot of stigma. Also they spoke about elective surgery, so planned simply means it wasn’t a health emergency, it could very well be an issue that presented itself a week ago and they decided to operate.

When I had a dermoid tumor removed when I was in my 20s it took me about a week to leave the hospital and about six weeks to feel like I was back to myself again and that’s probably what’s happening here. If you have something like a laparotomy, that’s a major surgery and takes quite a while to be able to move freely. It’s not life-threatening and once you find out, it’s not cancerous you just go about your business. Very common but also she wants privacy so maybe it’s best to give it to her.

Sick and tired of hearing all this rubbish. Many people go through surgeries every day but dont get it in the news or on the tv.
