I agree with another commenter; too much of the ladies talking, and not enough of what they were talking about. I kept wanting them to stop and show the items closely, with descriptions. There's the family portrait of Queen Victoria that would be amazing to see. I'll never get there, but it would be a dream.

It is great that they are finally taking the time to upgrade the infrastructure of the building. Upgrading the wiring and plumbing in a place full of so many irreplaceable objects needs to happen every so often. It would be such a loss if anything happened. We all ready saw that happen at Windsor once. I may be on the other side of the pond but I have been fascinated with Windsor Castle since I was 5. I have yet to get there to see the place but I stood in my living room watching the news of that fire and just cried.

It's just beautiful. I think they all prefer to live at Clarence House. I believe that Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother fought overshoe would live in Clarence House until Churchill ordered Elizabeth II to move into Buckingham palace, as was expected of the Monarch. She and Prince Philip wanted to stay at Clarence House. I don't think the King will officially move back in. He will have apartments there.

that castle has atmospheric free energy...of course...look @ 2:19 , see the "fireplace"...no wood has been burned in there...free energy from the atmosphere travels from spires on the roof down through wires in the walls and heats up that metal box in the opening, We, as a civilization, will enjoy this again.

It was a necessary job to be done or we may have had another catastrophe like Windsor castle. Imagine trying to rescue all the objects out of this long room alone from a fire!! So hopefully all the wiring etc was done properly & that the work was done so that they can protect areas if a fire does break out somewhere. I wonder how the wallpaper is attached to the wall as ours never came off in one piece, no matter how gentle we were.

Removed and rehung!!!! the wallpaper??? O MY!!!! I've taken down wallpaper and it was never in condition to be put back up. I'd very much like to see a book of details of the work in this restoration. ..especially concerning the wallpaper. Gobsmacked!!!!

the Queen may have called Buckingham Palace "the office" but a lovely office it is. too big to live in but what a gift to the nation.

I can only imagine these rooms look much better in person than via screen. The yellow room lounge is a vastly different shade of yellow than the reproduction curtains and the wallpaper would’ve been so much better if they had restored the yellow background; they took the wallpaper down surely restoring it completely would’ve been more advantageous to the look and feel of the grand room. Dying the fabric on the lounges to restore the bright yellow. Everything is so poorly, the bare minimum in each room has been done. So disappointing.

I’ve managed to track down cheap fake versions of the Chinese ceramics…it started with a cup and saucer that’s over 100 years old of my grandmothers………..but I do love the brass fire dogs in the fireplace…and all the colour combinations….it’s absolutely gorgeous…reminds me of the Queen and Paddington.
