What NERVE she has to say she’d “go to the end of the earth of any of her children” after she wrongfully very wrongfully has her son Collin institutionalized. You can just see the lies all over her face when asked how hard the decision was for her to send Collin away. She shows almost no emotional attachment to him even though she says “I know this is best for him.” She acted more like it was a dog that they were forced to give away rather than her own son being sent away from him. I always thought she was not completely telling the truth about where Collin really was this whole time. There was just a sneaky look on her face like she knew something the world didn’t know and like she was concealing something dark. The fact that she would not tell Jon where Collin was did make me suspicious. However, when Collin allegedly told therapists that Kate had abused him in the past it REALLY concerned me. I did have a feeling always that there was more that met the eye and am so glad Jon was able to find him. Collin’s roommate, Jon, and other supportive people by his side helped save his life. You’ve gotta be one manipulative & downright evil to do something like this to your own CHILD!!! 👿

I don't know why people would dislike someone they don't know. This woman has done the best she could for her kids. Raising that many kids and planning financially for their education and medical needs must be daunting and complex. I am not surprised she did whatever was necessary to find the money to do so. I read that her ex negotiated a deal where he didn't have to pay alimony or child support so she had to do it all on her own. If that is true, he sold his right to see his kids. Whether she allows him to see them is completely up to her.

Stephanie if someone told me that my special needs son had the opportunity to attend an inpatient program and that it would greatly help him, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. I would be sad and empty from missing him. but there is just not enough outpatient resources available for certain special needs kids. I'm always asking his doctor for more help with treatment and trying to get the best help for my son. that's all Kate was doing!

Sometimes adults forget in their trying to help their children, how much the child needs to be with their parent. Its important that the child has that stability. However the decision depends on the amount of help they need or the childs disabilities.

I have no doubt that she loves her kids. I can't begin to imagine the enormity of raising 8 kids by yourself. But if she truly loves her son and wants what is best for him, she will keep his struggles out of the limelight and just support her son in healing and reconnecting with his family. And as bad as Jon is, I do think he has a right to know what is going on with his kids...especially if they are having problems. No, she hasn't, that Kate cut off her side of the family out of her life in 2007 cause they were concerned how Kate was treating their niece's and nephew's that Kate mistreat Jon and their children she emotionally abused all her children especially Collin and that she threw him away in 2016 cause she couldn't turn him against his father as she has done with the other kids she wouldn't let him come home for his birthdays and the holidays she rarely visit him that Kate is the main reason Hannah is living with her father for over a year after stupid stunt Kate pulls on them in 2017 which involves the police escorting Kate away from Hannah who was literary in tears cause of her mother screaming at Jon and her when Jon won custody of Hannah Kate never bother to show up for court and when Jon got the letter from Collin and Collin was begging him to come to get him and that in Collin letter he is telling his father that Kate was abusing him and that when Jon went to visit Collin he then filed for custody of Collin when Jon won custody of Collin on Decemeber 4th, 2018 Kate never show up in court and the twins have said their mother never show them loved and that they can't stand her and want to get far away from her and Leah has said Kate hasn't cooked in years for them and that Alexis no longer talks to her and Kate has turned the six remaining children against Hannah and Collin, Kate isn't a good mother and she isn't a good person.

I am a father of a now twenty eight year old... I was the biggest part of her life for her first ten years. took her to her first day of kindergarten, taught her hygiene, she came to me when she fell, when she needed help with homework... then, when she was ten, her mom cheated and i moved on with another person and that's when the hell started. men have NO rights relative to the mothers. had shared parenting, but was refused by the mother and the cops did nothing accept arrested me because she would put out bogus warrants out on me for stalking, menacing, etc.... she won by me never seeing my daughter, but i lost and little does she know so did her daughter.... she hated me wayyyyy more than she loved her daughter who no doesn't want anything to do with either of us.

BeachNanny aroubd the divorce (maybe even a little before) collin already had aggressive issues, while he was such a little boy! Kate has stimulated him to become the sweet boy she knew again, but his behavioral problems have been there for quite a while. If she had truly admitted Collin to the psychiatric facility for legit reasons as a concerned mother who wanted the best for her children (which she clearly DID NOT), she would have gotten the father involved. Sending him to be locked away in a psych facility, away from siblings, family and in her words "the world", is not going to help. In order to get the best chance of helping the child, their ENTIRE support system needs to be involved 100%. I know this was from several years ago. However, if this was happening in the present, I honestly believe in order to get him back to a "healthy mindset", she should have been removed from his life because she is clearly the problem. She tries to make it sound like she did that out of love and concern for her child saying "this is the best thing I can do for him now, and that comforts me". That quote right there is all anyone needs to confirm how self conceded and what an unfit mother she is. How does she believe literally hiding him and cutting contact from his father and others is the best thing for him? I'm so glad he's in his fathers care now and hopefully he can begin his journey of truly healing.

From what's has been said Jon had Hannah in mid-2017 taking her to the dentist as usual Kate had to interferes with Jon visiting time so she went to Hannah's dentist wanted Hannah to come home with her Hannah said no and Kate told she needs to come home Jon said to Kate she old to pick who she wants to go home with Kate lose it and she starts a shouting match with Jon and Jon told Hannah go to his car Kate follows Hannah will screaming at Jon and Jon tell Hannah to stay calm Kate is screaming at Hannah and grabbing Hannah's arm trying to force Hannah out of Jon car Hannah is crying and Kate still screaming at both Jon and Hannah that Kate was causing so much chaos someone got concerned calls the police they had to escort Kate away from Hannah.

I do believe Kate was the cause of the divorce. Ive been watching since her pregnancy with the kids and she was always whining and freaking out at Jon. A good relationship with your spouse should always come first. She never cared or wanted to compromise with jon. He was always quiet or having to deal with her constant bickering. Im not sure why Jon isnt really part of his kids life anymore but i think he never wanted attention or a spotlight but she did. I do commend her for her parenting 8 kids bc that is never easy, especially 6 teenagers all at once. Hopefully once the kids turn 18 they will lead more normal lives

If you haven't walked in a person's shoes, you can't fairly judge them. Raising multiple children is very difficult and expensive. What kind of job could she get that would pay her enough to provide those children with the lifestyle that they have, as well as allow her to be home with them? A parent has to be strict with their children sometimes. Spare the rod and spoil the child. And with such a large family there has to be order, especially since she's doing it without their father in the home.

Most people don't have 7 other kids either. It's easier to say what you would do in a situation like this and call the person selfish than it is to actually live in her shoes. I'm sorry but she is not MOST PARENTS she has 7 more kids that she has to take care of and might not be able to give him all of the attention he needs. As someone who used to work with kids with disabilities i can tell you it is not an easy task. Parents that have no other kids struggle to even keep the one child clean and rarely make sure they are getting the attention the child needs because it's too much work and they are "busy" and tired from work. Can you imagine having to deal with that plus 7 other kids? It's not easy and i know the decision to send him away couldn't be easy for her either but as a parent you have to do what's best for your child even if you have to take the hate that strangers throw at you. Let's be kind and put ourselves in other people's shoes before we judge them.

Cynthia Denniston my sister got sentir away 3 Gears ago because she has ADHD and bipolar problems...she threatened to harm my mom and my other siblings she wasn't allowed out either not even for holidays!!!
