That was utterly fantastic!!! Liked it when the guitar player looked ahead at the music and hot under the collar, and I also liked it when the backing singers gave up because it was better for the music :) Probably my favorite version of this song so far...

The way I see it, she turns the pages without even looking down most of the time, so not only has she memorised the lyrics, she even memorised what page she's on at any given point in time. That's impressive.

it's not supposed to be a taped performance from what i can tell, it's literally a performance in a performance restaurant/bar that people like to record as they are usually stunning shows. hence in some videos, there is a lot of plate and cutlery clinking. for a one off show, i think they do amazingly

***** Celine worked multiple riffs into the song as well. This is an incredibly difficult song for anyone to sing (hence why Celine mimes the song in the her concerts these days). I think this version was well sung, but most importantly was a passionate performance, which is the most important quality required to give justice to a Jim Steinman song.

I don't think I've ever seen such a contrast between a gifted pop singer and someone trained in musical theater...she did her best, Celine Dion leaves big too shoes to fill, but it just sounded waay too Broadway, there had to be someone who could've putlled off both genres at least a little bit better...

it was out of tune, semi-toned... maybe she was nervous, or it was too high a tone... it was easier to drop 1 tone for her (a mistake that many singers make, not adapting the music to her tone... I won't even compare it with the performance by Jeremy Jordan, it's not fair.
