Love listening to her. She's such a breath of fresh air. No bs, just straight talk.

Very fun to see Christiane interviewing someone playing a war correspondent when she herself was one of the most important correspondents on CNN in Bosnia and Sarajevo. Once I read someone tongue in cheek remarking that "there was C.A. reporting and dodging bullets at the same time." She is a trailblazer herself.

Kate just nailed it. So many vets and civilians came back and had to close and normalize. I used to bartend a lot of old vets as a young man. The history classes do NOT tell the whole story before during and after the war. My grandfather flew the bombers over the Pacific and much more. He drank hard. Only to other vets did he tell the stories. Ma'am, thank you for telling the story. Telling the reality and giving a picture most today will never see otherwise.

A great portrayal of a modern woman who was 80 years ahead of her time. She could never take no for an answer. Determined to be of use during the war and live an impactful life, Lee Miller was a role model for both sexes. Kate Winslet should win her second Oscar for this gritty and moving film.❤

Let’s start a petition! Who else thinks that we should get a Holiday sequel 🎅🏽 🧑🎄 🎄 with Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Jude Law, and of course, out of retirement, Cameron Diaz all coming back? And I also think that the Director, writer & producer Nancy Meyers should come back as well. Distributed by Universal 🌎 Pictures 👇🏽

The recent documentary on Lee and three others was brilliant. This film is a cheap steal of it and they cannot even give it credit

Could you, then, please give it credit. What is the title, and where can we see it? Thank you!

@@morganfisherart 'An Unfinished Journey' and it was at Hot Docs Toronto this April and I saw it and it was amazing. Featured four female reporters, photographers covering World War Two and Lee was one of them. Basically the film stole the idea, focused only on Lee, and I'm fine with that but ignoring the doc is disgusting. I have no personal or financial interest in it so you can use goggle etc. It is worth seeing. Powerful and True
@chriscarroll2773 ай бұрын
@@HuplesCatHi, Canuck here….An Unfinished Journey was a doc about four AFGHAN politically active women who escaped the Taliban regime…..not sure where you’re getting your title/claim from? Also, my understanding from other interviews is that Winslet’s been pulling a movie together based on Miller for a few years now.
@HuplesCat3 ай бұрын
@@chriscarroll277 Duh! So many docs! I love Hot Docs. It was this in 2023 "Luzia Schmid’s Trained to See: Three Women and the War is a brilliant and timely documentary focusing on three extraordinary trailblazing women who changed the way in which we see war. Lee Miller, Martha Gellhorn, and Margaret Bourke-White followed soldiers into battle" It is excellent and the true unfictionalized accounts are fascinating.
