I spotted Saoirse in a bar in Edinburgh this past August called CC Blooms, after just submitting my masters thesis earlier that day . Her back was to me at the bar and I knew immediately.. holy shit that is HER. To this day I do not know how I was able to spot her from behind in a dim bar... I was standing about 3 ft from her and interrupted... " are you saoirse ronan? " and she said.. yeah! I couldn't believe it! We chatted for a good few minutes about my dissertation I was doing at the Uni of Edinburgh (regarding gender discrimination faced by women in senior leadership.) She stayed and chatted with me and listened about my research intently and was a COMPLETE gem. We parted ways and she gave me a genuine hug. I will not forget this run-in with her ever!!! And I am super happy I watch enough of these interviews to know how to pronounce her name properly LOL. It was the ultimate way to conclude my masters degree.

Kate Winslet very quickly and casually switching to Joanna Hoffman's accent shows how much strong of an actress she is. Most actors have a hard time doing it, and understandably so because even if you have mastered different accents you need to immerse and connect to a character's environment to do that. That reminds me of an SNL skit when Kate Winslet was playing a scientist. The joke was so funny that the cast members couldn't stop laughing, but Kate remained in character way until the end. Her discipline was beyond compare. She became my favorite actress because of that skit.

nah,i dont thinks she is underrated.. hollywood offered her too many big bugets movie but she declined it for the reason that she think it is best to do an indie films cause she wanted to do an acting a real acting.
