I think it's awesome you guys have time to eat. My clients never set aside time for me to eat. I have to grab a bite like a banana or something quick in between moments. Sometimes I have a moment to sit and eat, but most of the time I don't eat until after everyone is gone and I'm officially done working. I know this is not about eating, HA but that's what stuck out to me. Like wow! They get to eat!?

Brilliant....It's always an emotional time when they see the images on the same day. With the EOS R/5/6, have you tried sending your select 15-20 images directly to your iPad using Canon Camera Connect? I find that to be much faster and completely clutter-free. That way, you don't even need any cables. With Lightroom on your iPad, you can edit immediately and share with the couple.

Great idea! How do you prevent from your photos being air dropped to to their personal devices or do you let them. Also do you prevent them from looking at other photos that are stored in your iPad like previous weddings?

its more dramatic if you add romantic music in it and plug it in projector or in a big screen t.v.😊 so that all can see it while eating.

@@SayerJaDin I mark my favourite pictures in a camera during the whole wedding day. Than my assistant download it to a computer in the evening, from my favourites he picks the best 70-90 photos and I create the slideshow in about ten minutes.

Are these images sent to your couple as well? I know a lot of people want to share pictures of the wedding they just went to and I could see sending them the images to give to friends and family would be beneficial. But also, since the images are just edited quickly at the wedding I can understand that you may not want to deliver them because you'd want to be sure they fit well with the entire gallery that you deliver later on. I have heard of people only delivering only Black & White images until the whole gallery is finished as well, to ensure the colours are consistent throughout the whole delivered gallery. Thanks! Love the idea of this!

You can airdrop through Bluetooth you don’t need Wi-Fi

How do you pool out 20 photos directly into Lightroom from let's say an SD card among 2000 photos taken for the last 3 hours of shooting? It takes me a half of working day to do it.🤯

It may take 2 mins. max away from the reception, but everyone loves it!

The only negative is damaged iPADs or stolen Ipads, I know I might sound negative, but people but pay among other things, complain about, that I didn’t get this or that, so, to place a iPAD in their bag with the photos would not be hard to imagine.

That is true, but we have never had a damaged or stolen ipad. But it is a risk!

This is really nothing new at least in Portugal. In here we present some very selected photos in a projector for all guests to see along with a same day video. The same day video its like a little teaser for the wedding with the best moments until that point, with some sentimentalism mixed and normally the bride, parents and... most woman present, tent to cry and love it. That makes a great break point on the party so people enjoy and take the time to think and understand that's not an ordinary party as a birthday or similar, but a party to celebrate a love story! Every photographer in Portugal does that!
