Thank you so much! I watched four other tutorials and they didn’t show how to fix the ken burn to crop correctly and didn’t show where the zoom button was or how to shorten the length of time the image stays up.. this is great. Now I can finally get to work on my first video. Was about to scrap the idea! 😅

Great video! Great tutorial! I’m away from my desktop and I want to create a slideshow… I’ve got iMovie and final cut on it… but I do have iMovie on my phone here… so I’ll give it a go. I have several slideshow projects that I want to do and time this weekend to do it..although, one project is, seemingly, continually in creation mode, as I still need more photos. So, I suppose, i can start the project, use all the photos I currently have , save it as a project, but then come back and add more photos, as I get them. Once again, great tutorial! Done well!

I am not able to drag and drop music horizontally on time line, suppose i wants to start my music clip from 15 seconds later but when I import music clip it start from beginning, is there any option to drag and drop little right side the whole clip?
@MrScottPanfil3 жыл бұрын
It sounds as if your music is on the main timeline? If so, you wouldn't be able to move it. It has to be below the main timeline and then should be able to be moved.

Thanks for an informative and useful video. So I’m creating a slide show using photographs, many of which are headshots of people, naturally in ‘portrait’ orientation. There are black bars of either side of the photographs in iMovie. The social problem with this is that in many cultures, the black bars on either side of a photo are indicative that the person is deceased. Anything other than black is fine; red, yellow, green, etc. Any suggestions on how to avoid this societal faux pas?
@Spanfil3 жыл бұрын
There is. There is a free plug in called M-Vertical. Although, if you use the Ken Burns effect, it will zoom in on it and the bars will be gone.
