Today's video is about our John Deere tractor maintenance and a crop update to show how the winter wheat is growing. Dad and Darcy are cleaning filters and changing oil. Dad has to get out the John Deere manual!!! Grandpa comes by the shop to see what is going on and he tells me about the old days of farming. We have to go to town to get another oil drum from Frontline Ag Solution our John Deere Dealer. I go out in the field and take a look at the winter wheat. The wheat is growing and it looks like we might have a crop!!!! Thank you for watching!

Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am a 17-year-old 4th generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality. I hope you love my products as much as I do because this is an extension of our farm and the grains we have been growing to feed other families for over one hundred years.

I used to work on Electro Motive / General Motors diesel locomotives. those engines held 400 gallons of oil ! The average car holds about 6 pints ! Loved the video, Grandpa could tell some storie's !! Stay safe Kate ! XXX

Maybe if Tim from Frontline Ag Solutions John Deere dealer knew this amazingly educational episode got over 50,000 views in six months, he might look up from his computer to say "Hi". Very interesting that we can actually vary moisture and nutrients in our soil by our crop choices. Awesome show. Great to see Darcy and Grandpa. Both could just share memories for 20-30 minutes to "edumacate" and entertain us with their knowledge and personality. You can tell that "their waters run deep".

Oh My God!!!! Darcy your Dad and Pops... Priceless!! The wealth of knowledge in that garage is mind blowing. Darcy should have purged the oil pump line to get the air out. He took a nice oil shower with forced compressed air. There's nothing better than preventative maintenance just before the equipment hits the field. The weather is really warming up, it appears to be an early planting season this year. I just hope that you had enough rain for your water table.

🇺🇲🙋Hello again Kate. You had me laughing when your hair was blowing in the wind, I was distracted and had to rewind because I didn't here what you were talking about. I can relate to the maintanience part because I work at a taxi/transportation company in the garage and that is all I do all day is maintain 100+ vehicles every day. We have the same oil guns but they are on retractable hose reels hanging from the ceiling and the oil comes from big 200 gallon tanks that are filled from tanker trucks. Hi Kate, just saw the base price of the new 640 hp John Deere 640 R on duals, starts at $625.000 , when you go for the full options almost $700.000 😟 The 640 hp track version John Deere 640 RX has a base price around $770.000 , when you go for the full options almost up to $900.000 🥴😀 ... oops.
