WHY IS THE HERMES MINI KELLY $30,000??

It's crazy to me how normalized owning a BKC is. Social media makes it seem like everyone has one (or five) on top of their rainbow of classic flaps. It's just wild to me sometimes. I have to remind myself that nothing about owning even a single BKC is standard or normal and owning one is truly significant.

On Vestaire colective most of them are unsold, so those sold ones are just in rare leather or color, not basic (but they are priced as rare ones, i wonder why the sale is not good 😂😂😂)

I came here a year after you made this video. I came because I was wondering “why is a used bag $30K?” Thanks for this conversation. It was, if nothing else, a nice sanity check. And a year later, I’ve seen Mini Kelly’s list for over $30K. So I guess the trend is not over yet! I love my dupe. Totally impractical, it barely fits my phone. But I’ve enjoyed the inconvenience. Go figure.
