It sucks because in League of Legends there's only ever one proper 1v1. The second someone wins they get stronger and then the 1v1 is no longer fair. But I mean that's just the nature of the game and bounties have been implemented to try and mitigate these types of problems.

Look at baus sion getting solo'd 4 times before 3 minutes, getting an easy 1v1 at 6 to collect their bounty, then scaling into an unkillable raid boss every game

They're both the best at what they do but I think ultimately bruiser items must be reworked. Kat isn't even particularly strong right now, anyone who as played her AP build rn knows. But bruiser items are so disgusting. Sunderer Bork and wits end deal so much damage that it doesn't even make sense to go AP on Kat right now. As someone who plays a lot of kat I like playing her AP but it's troll to do that rn.

7:00 wasn't hesitation, he held the Ult because Kat has a shunpo angle out of the ult. He was being patient for a possible guaranteed stun. Katevolved read the situation really well and opted to shumpo away from the wall rather than the safe shunpo closer to his tower/lane. These two are mechanically on a level all their own. The fact that both of these champs require super fast split decision making and the accuracy in which they are exicuting. This matchup is like DBZ lol.

As another Kat main, the problem is her on-hit effects. After the items rework and the introducton of mythic items, she never found her key item, one that suits her well. Her kit worked after her rework from assasin update but then came the shop rework and it has been unsure the way she has to build. Maybe, just maybe her pre rework kit might work with the current items

They need to fix AP itemization if the want to get rid of AD Kat. AP burst just doesn't work against tanks and bruisers in the current meta even when ahead. You just do 1/3 of Mundo or Nasus HP and then get one shotted.

Whats so good about pre changes item when gunblade still existed with kat is the life steal. It allowed kat to be not too tanky, but still have enough sustain to have a satisfying play-style, but bcs they removed that from her and with life steal nerfs in-game and nerf on conquerer, bruiser items are the go to just to imitate her play-style before the item changes in addition with it being broken, which is stupid on Riots part. All ap items caters only for mages. Not a single ap item fit for a play style like katarina excluding nashors tooth

18:16 The fact that 4-2 Qiyana with 135 farm and 2 full items completed, with a fully maxed q couldn't even clear the casters, on a champion meant to be an Assassin is just so stupid. Qiyana already can't play the early game anymore since her lvl3 all-in has been neutered. And like Midbeast said, Sunderer makes it so Qiyana can't even burst another Assassin in a 1v1 is truly tragic. If Riot doesn't want Qiyana to be a Champion until Prowlers, then at least give her back the damage needed to burst squishies with an armor item. Like just about every game, Beifeng gets champ gapped. But this one was even worse due to the double kill, and Qiyana not being able to exist in prior to level 3. Pretty obnoxious that mid lane was already over before the first minion wave got to lane since Qiyana has little to no capabilities to come back in 1v1's, and can't roam as effectively as Kat can. Much respect to Beifeng though. Dude did everything he could to try and salvage it.
