You know when i was a little kid, kathakali dance would come on dd national always late at night almost around midnight and that was so scary for me the facial expressions of the Dancers really scared the sh*t out of me at that time😂. Little did i know that this is something extraordinary, but now i understand it as i grew up.

*Just for my Revision* 😊 1. कथकली शास्त्रीय नृत्य का संबंध केरल से है। 2. इसे विशेषकर पुरुषो द्वारा किया जाता है। 3. रामायण, महाभारत इसके आधार है। 4. इसमें नायक को "पाचा" और खलनायक को "कथी" कहते है। 5. इसमें चेहरे का हाव-भाव प्रदर्शित किया जाता है। 6. इसमें 7 प्रकार के Makeup का प्रयोग किया जाता है अर्थात् सर्वाधिक रंगों का प्रयोग केवल इसी शास्त्रीय नृत्य में किया जाता है। 7. इस नृत्य की 24 मुख्य मुद्राये होती है। 8. इस नृत्य के स्थान (थियेटर) को "कुट्टमपालम" कहा जाता है। 9. इस नृत्य में 3 वाद्ययंत्रों इदक्का, चिन्दा और मडालाम का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इनके अलावा कोई और points हो तो please Reply करें। ❤
