Giggidygiggidy12: what you call "transitions" I call gyrations. In her first song with David Foster she was controlled and sang well. Now the two are a couple and he has lost his influence over her delivery. She sounds like garbage. Those gyrations are not the mark of a great singer. And its actually harder to maintain a smooth delivery. The woman has no taste in things musical. Listen to how she sings "The Prayer" and compare it to this garbage.

Simon says it's better to be number 2. The winners have to pay a 10% to RCA of whatever they make from their act for life. Number 2 are free to do whatever they want. So, in the end, she came out the winner. She went on to do concerts, Broadway, 3 hit series, DVDs, etc, etc...and after 12 yrs of friendship, DF finally convinced her to marry him. And she brought herself and her established 15 million . Some say she married him for the money. I disagree. She owns it. She's a triple threat. Very talented woman who owns it. DF is a very lucky man. They are both blessed in carving a life together.
