I always saw Michael/Morgan as the next generation of the Jason/AJ dynamic play out. Michael, who was raised by Jason (let’s face it, Jason did the heavy lifting) was the “golden boy” while Morgan, the younger brother, was the screw up.

Along with the fact, that he felt that Michael is loved more than him, hence his reasons for guilting Sonny into going along with the lie.

@@walterjohnson2713 This was when Franco was supposed to be her father and Jason’s twin making Kiki a Quartermaine Heir . Jason’s twin was actually Drew Cain. Drew lived with Franco and his mom when they were kids. Dr. Silas Clay is Kiki’s biological Father. They killed off the Clays. Nelle, Willow and Avery are Kiki’s half sisters. Nelle and Willow via Silas Clay & Nina Reeves and Avery via Ava and Sonny. Personally I think they are going to retcon Avery into being Morgan’s biological daughter eventually. Factually there was a DNA Test for Avery before she was born. Also most of these storylines were retconned due to a shift in producer and writing teams at the time. The legal issues with All My Children and One Life to Live are also major factors for change in storyline. Chad Duell( Michael Corinthos) and Kristen Alderson( Kiki Jerome) were a couple in real life as well . Apologies if this was Information Overload.
