You're always amazing Katherine at what you do, but this new set up though makes the experience even better. It's so refreshing and feels so open/airy since this is the first time you’re not so close to a wall and more central in the room. Makes the room feel so big and makes the big windows in the background feel so much more pronounced now. Also just we now get a front angle of you performing. This angle makes me feel like I'm an audience at a concert. Overall the atmo and viewing experience with your talent just adds so much of you performing. So very nice to see a huge change up in your set up especially with the new Nord Piano too! 10/10

This is the most beautiful cover I've ever heard. I've never touched a piano in my life, but it inspired me to begin learning. I just bought the sheet music to this. I have no idea how long it will take me to play this. 5 years? 10 years? I don't know, but to be able to play this one day will make the journey worth it. Stay tuned ... :)

There is a solo piano version from Einaudi himself, and transcriptions are available on musicnotes. While not as intricate as this arrangement, the "official" solo piano arrangement is much easier to learn for a beginner. Best wishes for your musical journey, you can do it!

@@Enesty871 Appreciate it. I enjoy a challenge. This is the arrangement I want to learn more than any right now. At some point, I'll start working on basics alongside learning this piece, as I don't want to just be memorizing keys nor get bored with stuff like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. lol Being able to play by ear and sight read is the ultimate goal, while having fun with arrangements like this. I can't wait to see where I'm at in about 3-5 years from now.

I found your music through the Dune theme cover, which drove me to tears. That only happens if someone plays from the heart, so I instantly thought of Einaudi, whose pure emotion in his playing exceeds his technically sound performance. This is why I was very curious when I saw you also covered Einaudi. Could you match the maestro? My verdict? Well, I'm bawling my eyes out here, so that's a definite YES. I find it fascinating that you place several accents differently than he would, but that it doesn't matter. You captured the heart and soul of his music, and I am touched to the core. Really. Absolutely love your arrangements! I recently purchased the sheet music for Gladiator and have been practicing it non-stop. Next up, I'm thinking of tackling either this piece or 'Time'-both are just so inspiring! I have a question for you: your left-hand technique is incredible, especially the way you effortlessly move between the middle notes and the bass. What's your secret? How can I improve my speed to hit the bass notes accurately without accidentally hitting the neighboring ones?

You can only look to one side at a time so prioritize looking at whatever’s harder to accurately play, which is typically the bass. Play something enough times eventually your hand knows where to go!

What Einaudi seems to do best is allowing pieces of music to breathe. In every instant you feel the imitation of the human voice breathe. It is such a simple technique but it is what makes his music so beautiful. I have been learning this and understanding this myself just recently when programming strings. It is an art but one that goes completely under the radar. Yours was a fantastic rendition. Very beautifully played and orchestrated.
