A very special man who walked into my life and stayed beside me for the last 6 years died on valentines day this year. Although he was 94 and had a pace maker I will forever be jealous of the angels because they have a man with a heart of pure gold who I was lucky enough to know. He use to tell me off for calling him by name and tell me to call him granddad and at that age who am I to refuse him. Being sat beside him in his final hours have changed me for life but I wouldn't change a thing

My Mom passed away this morning at 8:27. I had been by her side for 5 days, bathing her, giving her meds and spending all the time with her I could. I was holding her hand and telling her how much I loved her when she passed. I lost my Dad in July 2021 and now my Mom. The pain that I feel is immeasurable, but I take great comfort knowing she is pain free and that I will see her again one day.

2012... Mom slipped into a coma and peacefully gained her wings. 8 weeks later I was with my Dad when he breathed his last. He was there when I came into the world... and I was there when he went out. It never stops hurting. Bless you in the days to come.

A year ago my mam was diagnosed with cancer and died exactly 1 month after diagnosis (11 months after my dad had died from cancer). My young daughter, with a disease that betrayed her youth and vigor, passed away. I came to her in Hospice and spent moments of her last days. I found, my sadness and loss was captured in this song. I am sure that is a common experience. A century ago the death rate for children was must higher, if that is a consolation. My niece had a little boy who was diagnosed as having a brain tumor when he was less than a year old. They arranged for treatment, which included surgery and chemical therapy. The first two or three operations seemed to be going well, but then they found an inoperable tumor, and then it was over. They spent a couple of weeks taking him places so that he could at least enjoy his last days on earth, museums, childrens activities. Some people in Star Wars outfits came over. For a while I guess the little soldier held up, but finally it closed in on him, and he died. They posted messages in Caring Bridge Internet site and Facebook. It was very sad. But what can one do. Life has no warranty.

Such a beautiful rendition of Jenn Bostic's song! A few years back I met Jenn at church. She wrote this song about her dad passing away when she was 10, and never dreamed of sharing it publicly but when she did it was a last minute change up. She barely made it through the words, and a person in the audience came up to her and told her a loved one had passed two days before and this song let them feel the closest they had been to them since. Then a radio station from overseas requested her song and within three weeks it climbed to number one and she performed at the Grande Ole Opry soon after. I think it makes her really happy hearing the words and music that brought her healing help other people experience the same. Beautiful performance by Katherine!

This song was played at daughter funerals she was 16 died of cancer Leukemia. Then a year later stepfather would died of cardiac arrest at his mothers home in Alexandria Virginia and I had this song played there too. I know my baby girl and partner are together with my grandparents watching me. And yes I’m still Jealous of Angels around the Throne.

I've just bought this album and loved every song that is sung so beautifully by Katherine here. The song Jealous of the Angels in particular sums up everything about loosing the love of my life just over 19 years ago. It's still so raw and although I want to ask the question and only God knows why, He gave me that precious time to share with someone very special and I can only thank Him for that moment in my life short though it was.

Every time I hear Katherine sing this beautiful song, I remember the first week it was issued, and she so kindly allowed us to "over write" the Cover" picture, with a message to our loved ones lost. Such a special thing, and it did help a young couple of friends who lost their baby son. Thank you, always. John Charles.

So sorry for your loss....I feel your pain... I lost my cousin on the 17th of December to sepsis n pneumonia and my dad passed away 3 days later with pneumonia on the 19th December 2017 ❤️

Kathrine has such a beautiful, flawless voice that touches your heart and seems to purify your soul when she sings! She has a Heavenly, Angelic voice that is perfect! ❤️ I lost my Father this past December to Covid and we were as close as we could ever be and this gorgeous song brought me peace, hope and comfort! Yes, Jenn Bostic and Donna Taggart did beautiful versions as well, but this version is my favorite! Thank you Katherine for such a touching, beautiful song. Pure class! 🙂
