Gord has that elusive melodic feel on lead so many guitar soloist never find, myself included. Damn. Maybe humming a solo in your head is the first step, then limiting it to the six notes around the root in pieces of the horizontal scale shapes. Easier said than done.

She and Gord Tough were never married to each other. Kathleen was married to guitar player Colin Cripps from 2004-11. Colin played lead on several of Kathleen's albums.
