The reason the gays love Kathleen is because she always has "Strong Mom" energy while having the voice of a Strong Daddy.

If you love her voice as many do, I highly recommend her memoir, "Send Yourself Roses" 2008. This was a few years before her health struggles began, so she's very expressive throughout, and it's hard to shake the mental image of getting my bedtime story read to me by Jessica Rabbit.

Romancing the Stone was a very good movie, much better than it could have been, and the acting was a big part of it's success. Her saying gay men need to stand with women really struck me, but it goes far beyond Roe VS Wade. Too many gay men are part of shaming and smearing women simply defending their rights or even having the temerity to say that a woman is an adult human female. Lovett gives me the impression he’d be one of those gay men too. We can’t support women by denying what they are.
