I actually bought that Sephora bronzer based on your recommendation, omg it's been so long?? I still have that bronzer and use it occasionally. I also remember that you loved the Burt's Bee blush in toasted cinnamon and the one and only time i got a reply from you was when I asked how is it possible that you haven't hit pan in that blush yet? And you replied that you honestly have no idea. Ahh good times. Another really old bronzer that you used to love was the NYC bronzer with the stripes called Montauk Bronze. @@palestar828 Let me tell you! I was watching KZbin and the makeup brands that people I followed were using, and I went to Sephora to get some. And when they told me the prices I clutched my Pearls! I could not afford their prices and I had to work with drugstore and Beauty supply store makeup. That’s what I used to learn how to do makeup. I got my first highend eyeshadow palette from subscribing to Boxycharm. They only had one box back then and it was $19.99 a month. That’s how I built my collection. When you get in front of your bills, treat yourself and get a makeup subscription that you like what you see from them. There’s quite a few at $25 and you can skip months when you don’t have the budget for it. Don’t feel bad, you will get there. I never thought I would have the collection I have now. But keeping it real, I’ve spent way too much money on makeup. We used to say, “KZbin made me buy it”, when a product is everywhere and everyone says it’s the Best thing ever. Don’t fall for that.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I have never been to Ulta or Sephora once in my life until last month for my first time ever! Lmao. I'm pretty behind in life because of a personal thing I've been facing that has literally taken life away from me. Until I can recover from that, I don't think I will ever get ahead. It's going to take a lot to get better from, but I just gotta do it. I dream of having a nice make up collection and nice skin care products as well. Ugh it would be so nice! I was 50 years old when I decided to stop lying to myself, that I’m just a lipstick and mascara girl, and I admitted that I didn’t know how to apply makeup and I didn’t want to look like a clown. I thought as a woman I should have automatically known how to apply makeup LoL. I created me a KZbin account and searched Drag Queens LoL. At that point I had never been to Sephora either. I’m 58 years old now and I regret that I wasn’t brave enough to ask someone to show me how to apply foundation, eyeshadow, etc… looking back, I wonder how I thought I should know how when no one ever showed me. Anyway don’t beat up on yourself. I’ve faced a lot of things in life, health issues, I’ve been in recovery for the majority of my adult life. Speak positive things for you and your future.

I love that yellow, it looks so beautiful! When matte products were really in style, I was obsessed with the tarte shape tape. Now that I'm actually catering to my skin type (dry), I've been obsessed with the nars soft matte. It's so much lighter in formula, and I put a hydrating primer underneath and I feel like I look much more youthful than when I was younger! Great video Kathleen

It’s so nice to finally find a pale skinned Latina youtuber! You actually have a similar skin tone as me.. it’s so rare, porcelain pale skin with warmer undertones. I’m mixed and was raised by my white momma with pinker undertones, my sister is also mixed and MUCH darker than me, so I couldn’t really take her suggestions either. If only you had combo type skin than I would really be able to know which makeup works for me even more. But I love finding other pale skinned latinas. Most people are like “but you’re white” it’s very validating finding others that look like me. I’m 30 and when I was growing up it was blonde hair, blue eyes and tan skin- that was the ideal.

The Maybeline age rewind concealer is still my ride or die. I pull off the little sponge so that I don't waste any. Ive tried many many concealers both high-end and cheap and I always always go back to the maybeline one.
