Literally I 100% agree with you. Beauty videos are relaxing. Beauty products are relaxing. Pampering yourself is relaxing and makes you feel good. It's a positive experience for you to make your videos and for the people who watch them and I'm very greats up for yours in particular. My husband and I have moved a lot and every single time we do, one of us yells "PIVOT! PIVOT!" I also love the gesture Ross does - it's his way of giving the finger w/o actually having to give it. Used to work at Starbucks about a year ago, so we always messed around with drinks and such to see if we could make something new :) A lot of people do this, but I love getting a trenta or venti passion tea (which is caffeine free by the way), with just two pumps of raspberry. There is no sugar free raspberry, but normally venti gets 5 pumps of syrup and trenta gets 6. So definitely specify the pumps because you say the syrup! Another good one is the berry hibiscus refresher or the cool lime. Valencia tastes a little too artificial. Black tea or passion tea lemonades are also great, but if you want less sugar, ask for just that specific tea and a "splash of lemonade." Hope this helps!

Lol the Mariel was when Castro said anyone was allowed to leave Cuba if they wanted to so people that had family members here would send boats to Cuba to pick up relatives at the port of Mariel. It was crazy because a ton of people would fill up tiny boats and head to Florida. That wave of immigration has a bad reputation because Castro decided he would also open up the jails and let all the convicts leave as well. It was crazy!! Learned all about it in my Florida studies class :))

I've binge-watched pretty much all of your videos in the last several months while taking procrastination breaks from nursing school. When I've had a crap-filled day (sometimes literally!) , I know I can put on a KathleenLights video and my mood is pretty much instantaneously improved. Random SPACE thoughts I had when you said that you would have liked to have been in the generation who sat at home and watched the moon exploration for the first time on TV. There are amazing space firsts happening all the time! Right now Scott Kelly is on the international space station and will be the first man to have lived in space for an entire year! We have a shuttle thing that we launched that has been going and going for so long the it just past Pluto and sent us back our first real pictures! Jupiter has a moon called Europa that is covered in ice and underneath their are oceans containing more water than the earth. NASA speculates because of the compounds present that there could be organic life within those oceans and is working on plans to explore it further as we speak! Now why I believe those incredibly amazing things are not as exciting to everyone, like the first man on the moon, is because it's boring. There are so many interesting things going on since those simpler times that our generation is hard to "wow". I also feel like our brains have so much information being put into them constantly from TV and Internet and social media that the idea of taking time to learn about new complex innovation in science seems like "too much". It's like that feeling that you get that something is over your head but it doesn't have to be over anyones head at all! We've adapted to processing quick information at a glance and when something like the latest in space exploration takes too long to understand or takes critical thinking to fully grasp the ideas we pass it up and that's why it feels over our heads. I felt that way. My husband really keeps up with those sorts of things. I'm just a housewife who likes makeup and cooking and doing beauty pageants with my daughter lol but being exposed to his interest in science and space ignites curiosity in both my daughter and myself. This got long 😁 sorry! Kathleen, if you even read this and make it this far, I love ya and you can feel that way about space even today! Just dig in! 😘

I'm an author so I have an opportunity to read negative comments and reviews about me and my work all the time but I've got to a point where I literally blank them out and ignore them. It's the biggest drain of time of energy, especially when there is so much positivity coming from nicer and more supportive people. It's hard to deal with, even by yourself. I found help from counsellors, there are hotlines that can help you find affordable people to talk to. Also try meetup it's an app, you can find meditation groups and anxiety groups on there near you. These groups are mostly free!

My family didn't take it seriously so I went and saw a therapist by myself. If you're not old enough to do that, try sitting them down and just asking them to listen to you. Print out things about anxiety and give it to them. And one thing that helps me when I'm feeling anxious is deep breathing and closing my eyes and tuning out the world. That has stopped me from getting panic attacks. But just try and explain to your family that you can't help it and it's how you're feeling. Or maybe ask if you can see a therapist. There is always so much help around us wether we know it or not. Check out your nurse at school and she will take you to all the right people. Best advice is to do breathing techniques search them online they are so useful! Don't be upset at your parents people that don't have anxiety don't understand and that's fine we are just a special type 💓☺️

If you have anxiety or an eating disorder, it is super important to have a support team. However, that doesn't always mean your parents/loved ones are going to be it. Are there any other members in your family that can help you or be there for you? If not, do you have any close friends to lean on? Also, there are therapists, support groups, and even websites with online help out there. I know of a KZbinr who has videos where she sits down and talks about dealing with certain issues related to anxiety. If you want, I could even give you my email and I would love to talk. I'm a Psychology student and have been studying anxiety for a while now (I also have it). I have a ton of coping mechanisms that help!

Sarah Nava I changed the way I eat (no more processed foods, junk food, fast food, soda, etc), I workout regularly, and it's a must that you find an outlet. Mine is planning LOL, walking, or just playing with my dogs outside (this has helped a lot).
