Termites! Yesterday I watched a Liberace documentary from the 70's on Netflix. It was very charming but also bittersweet, having read the book w Mama Termite... just seeing that for the entire film, Liberace is 'on' for the cameras and for the audience.

My daughter is the Catering Queen and I am The Termite. Daughter used her Paramount connection to get the beer backstage. So glad you got the beer. 😀The line was epic - bunch of queue-jumpers tried getting in line in front of us, had to get all Brooklyn on their queue-jumping asses! Well worth the wait. You rock.

Momma Termite, just letting you know that you don't have to enter the Louvre through the Pyramid. There are actually four entrances: I. M. Pei Pyramid, Carrousel du Louvre, Passage Richelieu, and Porte des Lions. The other entrances are usually without a queue.

I have been to the Antarctica British Scientific base and it is totally cool! As well as the research areas it has a small British pub as well as a small gift shop where you can buy t-shirts, postcards and British stamps and send the cards through the actual Royal Mail. Depending upon the time of year the mail used to be sent monthly. Very few people are even allowed on “The Ice” let alone into one of the research bases. I would take the job in a second! My favorite place in the world I have visited. It was a “religious” experience to be surrounded by animals, very few buildings, almost no people and the sound of quiet and the ice crackling and the animals! I have hair down to my knees so the hair washing situation is a problem with limited cold water available for showering!🐧🐦The gentoo penguin population around the station has sadly been experiencing a decline in recent years for reasons yet to be determined😢I am writing this wearing my black pubcast t-shirt😁 You were great in concert and the pubcast continues to get me through these bizarre times! Thank you KM and Paddles👏🏻👏🏻👸🏼🏎

Wait, my geography knowledge doesn’t include that island. Would it be dark 20 plus hours a day those months or the opposite? Hard to count penguins in the dark. It might be their summer. I was out at remote anyway, but that’s some important stuff to know. It’s secret though because several countries are involved in Antarctica. Some places don’t have time zones & they don’t even have clocks in many places. You should have had Paddles Giggle all the weird stuff about it. A land where time doesn’t exist

$7 a gallon is mom and pop gas for us normal people. You could easily say $10 when it’s so big and requires special equipment to do so. Completely different animal than a traditional gas pump.
