I honestly didn’t think this show was gonna be any good because Agatha Harkness doesn’t have that much source material in the comics, but I’m so freaking happy that I was proven wrong! Kathryn Hahn truly has made this character her own, and she’s far more entertaining than she has ever been in the comics.

It's interesting with Agatha in the comics, as she's never been a major character, but she's been closely connected with some of the most powerful players in the universe. So she's been around for major storylines even if she wasn't the focus. But Kathryn Hahn like you say has made this character her own completely. Jac Schaeffer is an incredible writer too, between this and Wandavision I'm obsessed with her work. She writes women so well, they're always fully developed, complex, three-dimensional characters.

I don't think anyone understands the frequency of Stepbrothers the first time, I worked at a dollar theater when it came out, no one understood it the first time. The second time, however, it hits home really hard, it's my third all time favourite movie. Kathryn Hahn is in Anchorman, Stepbrothers, Bad Words, This Is Where I Leave You, Parks and Rec, Wandavision, and now this show, and she's finally the lead. She is an OUT of this world actress. Peggy and Shield was ABC shows licencing out the Marvel IP. WandaVision was entirely in-house at Marvel, and was effectively the first full "Marvel Studios" production.

It was the first Disney owned and operated MCU show for Disney+ that is official cannon. Peggy Carter is sort of kind of canon but not exactly main MCU canon. I know it’s confusing but they think of them as separate from the main MCU. Even though it is the same character and actress from the MCU movies.

While I enjoyed the first two episodes of WandaVision, I can see why there would be a struggle in getting through them. Things really start rolling with the 3rd episode, and I'd suggest trying one more time to watch WandaVision because the sitcom parodies start being used "better" to tackle the bigger mysteries... but I respect the show not vibing with you.

I've watched so much of the press tour for this show, and it never fails to make me laugh seeing Kathryn try and fail to make "witch please" a thing 🤣Reminds me of Mean Girls, "stop trying to make fetch happen, it's never going to happen" hahaha. In one interview she said she even tried to get it in the script at one point, and everyone said no lol. She's SUCH a revelation in this role, so amazing to see her acting a script that fully takes advantage of her dramatic and comedic talents.
