Kathryn Stats is by far the best landscape painter I have ever seen, and that incudes the famous names.

I agree she is good, but the videos are a bit tough to watch. Watched the seascape one, dozed off more than I saw. Some folks are good painters,...………………. end of story. I liked the Matt Smith videos; wore out the one on painting in the southwestern desert, where I live now!!

i like her because she is honest and doesn't have a false sense of skill like a lot of teachers.. she is a good painter for this reason... being able to admit you messed an area up or just admiting how hard somehting can be is great.

This is a wonderful, valuable, artistic landscape painting, by deep observation, care and love. So rich in tones and values, so sensitive, so lovely to see! Thank you, dear Kathryn!

I was hoping to see you paint the mountains from the beginning and tell me what colors you use for each step. I did not learn much at all.

This is just an ad to buy the video, which is hours long; you'll learn all you need to there, if you cough up the cash. No freebies here I guess.

True and so could dozens of other kitsch faux artists. This is refined brush work and you have zero credibility.

Right, complete with "happy trees" and a "happy little cabin", that lives somewhere in the foreground. Suitable for hanging in a Motel 6 somewhere!! Not to be too hard on old "dandelion head", he did get folks interested in art of some kind, which is a good thing!! And yes, he might have cranked the whole thing out with that "trowel" she used to "mask in" some distant trees; a nice useful technique on her part!!
