Those 2 songs fitted my life perfect, when the Marshall Mathers LP came out i was about 11 and my mum was a heroin addict, we hated eachother. By the time headlights came out she was clean and i was over the moon for her I never got too close cos i knew me and her together always caused a problem ha but we became friendly.

He has a stigma attached to him for how brutal he can be, but he has many layers. The way he pens humility is something never done before amd probably will never be done again on that level

Couldn't be more true! A new reaction channel I get, they just don't know ... But blows my mind when some of these guys who been reacting to Em for years play the clean version. Like you said, it's a completely different song, and ESPECIALLY Eminem fans, just ain't gonna fly with us. I just started watching this girl though I think since yesterday. My boy stopped generational (several maybe) curses dead in their tracks through sheer force of will. He cared for his daughter, and every child even remotely related to him and provided them with a loving home, to the point that they are all seemingly well-adjusted good people. They will never know the evil that he had to bear. That, I believe is Em's greatest message and legacy. That the hate you had to bear can be turned to love. For everyone who said that he was a bad influence, I believe he's been, throughout his life, one of the best role models ever.

I’ve been listening to hip hop my whole life. I am now 33. I have just finally realized how much I didn’t understand hip hop and it’s all because of this man right here. His cadence, his wordplay, his everything is immaculate. If you get to the point where you have an Eminem ear. His songs just hit on a new level and I’m so happy I have gone back to listen to him and his greatness which also opened up the doors to the rest of the real hip hop scene. Hip hop is an amazing art form

If this gets to you - Castle & Arose (must be played back to back) will likely break you. Not only is it extremely vulnerable but it covers one of the most difficult battles of his life. If you’re not familiar with EM’s past, his mom is just the tip of the EM pain / trauma iceberg. The majority of people who experienced even a quarter of what he did would be dead (by their own hands or otherwise). EM truly had / has a purpose to fulfill and something (whatever you may believe in) has consistently ensured he lives it out. Great reaction!

You are on a journey to see why Eminem has the most enormous fanbase in the world : ). You may check Mookinbird is another open song about him, his wife, and his daughter. Also about the voice - later on, you must listen to some of his aggressive songs to see the difference and as time goes by and he gets older his voice gets different. One last point to make is that you don't need to show us every time you get chills hehe. Anyway hope you continue that journey for people to see what you think. I turned 18 years old in 2004. A pentecostal pastors son who was homeschooled from midway thru 6th grade to "graduation". I realized that I didn't believe what they did, even though I didn't know wtf I believed...but I knew I couldn't be under their roof any longer without disrespecting them and myself. So I moved out while they were out of town for a wedding, and my mom lost her mind in heartbreak when they came home and found my closet empty. I really wish I could do that over again, and change the past. But this song was really real for me then. Haven't heard it in 15 years, at least

*#Eminem* is better man than most *IMO* you know of his biological daughter *Hailie Jade* who he had with *Kim* but *Kim* had a twin sister with a drug problem *#Eminem* adopted her daughter *Alaina* who he calls *Laney* whose mother would end up dying a few years later & then even her biological father died a few years ago both of drug overdoses. But *#Em* also has a third daughter *Whitney* which came about during his first divorce with *Kim* during their separation she got knocked up meaning she was pregnant during their second marriage which only lasted about a year. None-the-less *#Em* adopted this child & when they got divorced a year into the second marriage (he didn't say take this other man's child with you) who was barely a year old he kept her & raised her like his own along with the other two daughters. *Whitney* has since come out as non-binary & changed her/his name to *Stevie* but you wonder how much that is society pressure with this whole new Trans movement & how much it's her feeling not part of the family (not that she's treated differently) but *Hallie* is *#Eminems* biological daughter *Laney* is *Kim's* twin sisters biological daughter & *Whitney* was born from an affair during their divorce/separation. Or maybe she is non-binary or whatever🤷🏻‍♂️

This is the first song i heard from eminem when i was 11, after my Father died from alcoholism 10 days after my birthday. SInce then ive been hooked and honestly the evolution of his career and music is just amazing. There is also a song "not afraid" which people i guess are not a big fan of but was also a song that helped me turn some shit around. i heard that song waking from a nap in a then gfs bed after a night of a lot of drinking and drugs. was soon after that i quit drug.

1. Would love it if you could react to the song "The way I am" ! It was the first published song where he also produced the beat by himself. The cadence, rhymestructure, and the way he put words together so that they fit into the schemes rhyming in such a particular way makes it one of his, and in my opinion also one of rap's greatest songs ever... It's a timeless classic... 2. Can you please do me a favor and never EVER again do a clean or censored version of an Em song? It just cuts out too much of the flow and the schemes and the emotions that were supposed to be expressed with each syllable... a song is just supposed to be received to the ears the exact same way an artist has created it...

Small bit of constructive criticism is to either come down a few levels on the louder reactions you verbally do such as the few “OH MY GOD!” parts - I understand it’s mostly excitement or enthusiasm towards Ems lyrics or the emotion they can inflict, but it comes through extremely distorted especially whilst wearing headphones - the audio of music playing also is quite low and echoed 2-3 times over, i feel a decent mic and basic audio set up would sort this all out for you. Great reaction overall though, just the audio issue but I understand this could be the very beginning of your reaction/youtube channel - either way, all the best 😊
