We're gonna miss Nicko McBrain (drums) on the kit for Iron Maiden 😪 He was the beat & backbone of the band. This was from 2011 filmed in Chile on Iron Maiden's 'The final frontier' tour... hence, the 'alien' Eddie onstage 😂... 'The evil that men do' ... is a classic song by Iron Maiden, released in 1988.

@@williamyates694 well... Christian don't mean s+++... His wife & son have criminal records ... His wife tried to stab 2 people in 2013 and was charged... His son was charged w/ burglary... Both were convicted, I believe... Both alcohol/ drug- fueled offenses. Nicko himself was arrested in '03 for assault using his car after a dispute. Things have calmed in recent years... but Christianity is nothing more than the opportunity for hypocrisy... Very few 'religious' people actually believe in 'God'... They just wanna line up their pockets and not feel guilty about it...

"The evil that men do" is the second single off Iron Maiden's 1988 seventh album, aptly titled "Seventh son of a seventh son". The album is actually a concept album, about the titular character who, being a seventh son of a seventh son, is born with very special powers. Though he's not much aware of those powers, both God and Satan are struggling to conquer them, and him. Spoiler alert: Satan wins in the end and conquers the poor guy's soul. "The evil that men do" is the fourth of the album's eight tracks, and at this point in the story Satan sends his daughter to seduce the seventh son of a seventh son, thereby partly completing his victory, since after being thus seduced, the seventh son of a seventh son loses the ability to ever fall in love with another woman. The single was an instant classic, almost as big a hit as the preceding single "Can I play with madness". In all, four singles were released from "Seventh son of a seventh son", all of them enduring classics and fan favorites, even if "The clairvoyant" and "Infinite dreams" didn't chart as high as their predecessors. The album got a somewhat tepid reception in the US - Axl Rose from support act Guns N' Roses was even arrogant enough to claim that his band should have been at least (!) co-headline, for being on the rise while Iron Maiden were, in his mind, losing ground. However, overseas and globally, "Seventh son of a seventh son" was a resounding success, one of the best selling albums of their whole career, and remains massively popular to this day. Many, myself included, consider it one of the best, if not THE best, album Iron Maiden ever made.

Sadly, drummer Nikko McBrain retired literally a few weeks ago. /// Robot Eddie is the best (fully robotic tech). Song is a hit, but not one of their best known hits. Song released in 1988. Concert & video released in 2011. (Also in 2009 (video on YT), but that's a different show (both in Chile)).
