I worked in military housing for 13 years, and there was one predominant group of people whose smoke detectors chirped, and these particular people would be watching television and the like all the while their smoke detectors would be chirping. I would change the batteries, and most of the time, they never noticed.

Seen Jay Leno in a theater - he holds the mic at his belly, if you sit on a balcony in a theater and he's talking to a mic down to his belly. In a coffee shop today, witnessed a woman seemingly there to have coffee with her male friends who brought a dog, spent 10 mins trying to give water to the dog. tried putting water in a plate... didnt work. Asked the barista for a full cup of water... water got all over the floor and threw away a nearly full cup of water the barista just gave them. Completely ignored her friends who where trying to ignore this busy body frantically failing to give water to a dog that was just fine.

I'll say this about the lanes. I live in a place where it's on the left-hand side of the road, and I had one time (only 1) where I did turn off of a side road, and I proceeded on the right-hand side (daytime, no drinking involed), and I must have gone a good 20-30 seconds (rural road, no cars), and my wife goes, "You're on the wrong side of the road," and thank God for it, lol. I just had a brain fart and didn't even realize it, as there was no traffic to merge into, so my brain kind of went back into default mode (and I had been driving here for several years already).
