I was married to a Scotsman who grew up in roughly the same neighborhood as Craig Ferguson. He was also just as funny as Craig. And Craig's show helped me make it through when he was gone. I miss them both very much. My parrot still has a Scottish accent.

I worked for NBC as a driver for the 1996 Olympics, one of my duties was driving a golf cart to drive celebrities around the studio and to the car lot, and Katie insisted on driving the cart herself and she was like a little kid, laughing and basically driving like a maniac! Very much in person like she was in this interview!

I do watch Graham Norton....Graham is very well prepared for his guests, let's the guests do all the talking. He is more of a great host, while craig actively takes part in entertaining. Bottom line there is NO match .Craig's complete spontaneity is something Graham is not simply born with.

Among her other fine qualities she has a natural feminine humor/spunkiness about her that though not deliberately employed nevertheless serves her well. @@checkoutmyyoutubepage never liked Leno for some reason, always preferred Dave in the 90s who had some wacky staff entertainment segments. Also I remember my first visit to Dave’s show when I was 16 and in line alone as my friend with the other ticket bailed, they pulled me out of line and let me go in early to watch rehearsals in the theater by myself. It was a great experience. Only watched Leno if he had a better guest that day.

What a nice interview! It is so much fun when he makes the people who try to look professional blush :-) Also amazing how we all got so focused on her playing the harmonica and because people so rarely can play anything we loved that she could play a fairly simple melody. It was awesome!

In Craig's defense, some part of her wanted to be less serious, but then she'd go back and set boundaries. I guess she had too much of a reputation to uphold. It can't be easy to have so many people scrutinizing you.
