Craig is the most unique night chat show host ever by far, when he quit in Dec 2014 night time TV became poorer. His unconventional show format was a constant mockery of the concept of night chat shows, of himself, his network, other networks, Hollywood. Great sense of humour, great with the female guests, couldn't care less to know a single thing about what celebs were there to promote, some big Hollywood egos found him hard to swallow. Every now and again I go on a binge watching clips of his

Exactly. It's one thing to realise that all of our beliefs, convictions, etc. are just stories (based on highly inaccurate information and perception) and not the same as reality but it's an entirely different and much more challenging thing to point that realisation towards yourself and your own narratives and face the consequences whatever they may turn out to be.

I remember when Craig got the Geoff Peterson robot, and as the technology for it got better it became an actual sidekick for him. But it started as a deconstruction of the late night host/sidekick paradigm. Soon, though, they became a legit duo and had some of the best improv on late night. Of course I would be remiss if I didn't mention the voice of Geoff, Josh Robert Thompson, probably the only guy that could keep up with Craig and his quick wit, and make Craig breakdown and laugh.
