She manged to escape a dangerous cult and a toxic marriage with a small child - it must have taken a lot of courage and determination on her part. Then again, it seems that she could bounce back from the abuse more easily. Katie has undeniably become a very well put together person over the years, and probably she's got more support from her family/friends than Britney has ever got, the poor thing.

Hate to say this but I have to. America loves that Sally Fields type beauty. I think it’s the doe eyes. Sally, Katie, Britney Spears, Carey Mulligan. All beloved for a similar type of look. Freaky to think about and compare but I’ve always noticed and wanted to say something. It’s nothing negative though. This is so weird. Her level of celebrity has nothing to do with her work. She’s basically been in one teen show from over a decade ago. She’s famous for being Tom Cruz’s baby moms.

She's been in over 2 dozen movies since DC and the only reason she wasn't in the rest of the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy is because Tom wouldn't let her. Its well known that from 2005-2011 or so he basically had to approve anything she was in and hardly ever said yes. So you're right in a way, she's most well known for being his wife because he derailed her career for 7 years and made it that way. Thats why she left (well that and the brainwashing). She's directing her 2nd & 3rd film this year and next, and just launched her own media group as a partner with Yale media, and has multiple fashion and beauty endorsement deals all over the world, which is why she has all these style and beauty interviews. She's very well known for multiple reasons, just because you're not aware of them doesn't mean other people aren't!
