4:52 - Here's a little fact for the Dr - Biology was around long before we had jobs. It's not up to Biology to work around our lifestyles and "keep up with us", it's up to us to work around our Biology.

@@peterdixon1137 what she means is that we modify our biology in literally millions of different ways in order for us to conform to and benefit society. That’s pretty obvious. She said it in an inarticulate way, but she’s just stating a fact. - sarastis

"Maybe one day soon, when the time is right." is just a euphemism for "Probably never.". Evolution will favour those who have the right stuff to survive and thrive long enough to become ancestors at the expense of those who don't. Women who make motherhood (or even just unprotected promiscuity) a top priority at a young age have an extreme advantage in the mating game over those who think pursuing a professional career for the most fertile and vital years of their lives is a route to success in the reproductive stakes. I bet she even knows a few half decent single guys or could get to know some, but won't risk shagging them to get pregnant because "the timing at this point in my career isn't quite right, not just yet."
