Love good Katie stories. Bobby is the man. It’s been so exciting to see an American male st the top of distance swimming. I don’t remember the last time the US had a male distance performer like Bobby. Those world championship races were so exciting. And what’s left to say about Katie. Of course she trains hard. She has a gift, and it’s been such a trip to follow her all these years. As a former miler, they make me proud of American distance swimming.

8:22 on her last 800 🥶 My friend was training with NCAP over winter break and said she had joined the practice while she was back for Christmas. He said they did a set of 12 x 200 free SCY on 2:15, he said she held 1:47s the whole time 😐
