ESW Member Katie Strachan talks about her use of the studio, working intuitively, using a sketchbook to capture ideas. She speaks about the materials she uses and her approach to making installations as well as the influence of the Scottish landscape including the simple shape of a mountain bothy which is a recurring theme.

Member Profile Videos is a project initiated by ESW in 2021 as a way to share our Members' practices while the pandemic had limited the sharing of work and chances to make new connections. We received support from Creative Scotland for the artist development work we put in place during this period.
