What a great video. You're very generous in sharing your techniques. I really appreciate you showing the bumps in the road along the way as well. When you pointed out that you'd nailed the face on upside down, I felt that deep down. Then to be able to save that with the bean basket was genius. I love my Thunder Laser. It is a discontinued Mars 90 that was in a showroom. Bought it from China before they had a solid footprint here in the USA. Putting opinions I have on China at large aside, I'm glad to see Thunder Laser doing well. I think they do make a quality product that has a growing user base and support for as far as I've ever needed it. Did you ever end up making the jigs suggested by Logan? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the video! If you create a jig for the laser, you could have the laser mark where your carriage bolts go, the radius goes and the angle for the legs, which may save you some time.

That’s a great idea! I will have to put something like that together.

The wood engraving looks beautiful. I use 1/8" for my projects. The engravings don't show the grain. Is that something that can only happen on the thicker woods?
@addicted2diy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! I think that with this being so out of focus, the grain showed more after being engraved. Are you using 1/8” Baltic birch or 1/8” veneer plywood? That also makes a difference.
@colettebarton19862 жыл бұрын
@@addicted2diy 1/8" Baltic Birch. Watching your videos is definitely helping with ideas to experiment with. Keep them coming.

How long did it take to laser the two tops.

Each design took 45 minutes to an hour to engrave.
