WOW, never saw POLAR EXPRESS. Music is amazing. The concert I did at Carnegie Hall last month, we did do a snippet from POLAR EXPRESS actually. As part of the choir, we did with the New York Pops as this grand intro music when Santa makes his grand entrance in the aisles. Audience went wild!! As he continues up the aisles and onto the stage, the Pops would do this Christmas swingy Big Band medley. One moment Santa grabs the baton and conducts the orchestra. So cute!!!

Love your videos! I’m a fellow flutist and current career band director. Without disclosing dollar amounts, is it really profitable to fly to gigs? Doesn’t it take a huge cut of your take home pay? Are hotels, car rentals part of the pay or do you foot all of it? Where I live, it’s reasonable to drive 3-4 hours in personal vehicle across the state to perform but housing is covered by organization or orchestra society with private houses to stay in. Love your ideas on this 💖
