Hi Katie, I am new to clay and your tutorials have been simply amazing. I followed along this tutorial but made my flower cane in hues of blue and 18K gold.....I was not sure how this was going to be anything but one finished, I cut the cane and low and behold the cutest flower ever was just inside....I am tickled ....thank you for being such and inspiration and sharing your craft...

What a wonderful flower cane. I really like the way you backfill the translucent. I’ll use your method. I also am glad you kept that divot in the middle. I like learning from you. Thanks so much for posting your work.

Such a *pretty* flower cane, Katie! Because I've never done backfilled flowers, I'm learning so much just watching your flower cane videos. Thank you so much for sharing your process with us; I really appreciate it. Can't wait to try this cane in the yellows but in different colors as well (pink, blue, purple, coral...oh my!).

Hi Katie! I’m watching your lovely yellow flower video. Sooo pretty and cheerful. I live in the Boonies out in south western New York State in The tip of the mountains. Which state are you in? You said you’re in the boonies too. Thanx I truly enjoy your “ chill with me down-home” feel to your videos. You make me feel warm, cozy and welcome! I’ll bring the chocolate chip cookies some day! Thanx! 👍🥰👵🏻

Hola, soy Jeanette, me gustaría saber que arcilla usas para poder hacer las flores, la que yo uso es muy blanda y se pierde la forma.... Cuál es la marca?.... Un gusto de seguirte..... Saludos

In my cheapy little machine, I have to clean the rollers between passes, or it wraps around the rollers. It really helps with the sticking.

Hey man I rented my whole life shared a room w my sister till I moved out. Sometimes we could only fit one twin size bed in there sometimes more than sometimes we lived in cars and the 3 of us kids would share the back seat. Mom would stay up all night turning the car running the heat turning it off so we didnt all die from cold or carbon monoxide. Been there worked super hard and now can play some that is lots of Bill's and 875 a mo in student loans lol

@@katiegordon610 that is the one thing I have been blessed with is not having to sleep in a car, but I grew up with three sisters and a brother all four in one room and then living in a house only until we could pay for it but without a refrigerator or working toilet and no washer and dryer I could say I hated it then but think my family growing up wer closer then but I know what you mean I think the things we go through in life so many I can't say but if you make it out of it alive and learn from it it makes you a better person. Agreed? Or no

I can't ever get a good blend when I try to do a Skinner blend. Maybe it's because I use such a small amount of clay?
@katiegordon6104 жыл бұрын
I do small amounts of clay I have done 1x1 inch amounts of clay but in a thinner setting. I watched fiona abel Smith how to do a skinner blend but u also def have to practice just use two junk scrap Clay's and try that. Check her video out tho
