I have been retired for 14 years, I was fortunate to be able to retire at 55. I was very social, when I worked, however , I kind of became kind of reclusive, after retirement. Recently, 3 of the woman, that I was close to touched base and we spent a wonderful day together, with plans to do it again soon. So my 2025 goal is to try to reconnect with friends and get out of the house more often.

I too retired at 55 and have been retired for slightly over 14 years. I am very social and luckily was invited by a friend to walk with her and a few others and now we’re besties. Life is good! Get out there!

You can use the hot honey on meats or even pulled jackfruit sandwiches. It's great on smoked things, too. Beer cans are always cool outlets for artists to showcase their stuff. Some of the designs are really quite cool and I know of a few people who collect the cans because of the art itself! Happy holidays to you and your family!

This is Penny. I want to prioritize my self-care, in just the same way Tim described. When I was working I always said I was too busy. Now that I am retired I say the same so it is really me that needs to make a change. And I also want to increase the time I am outdoors, walking , gardening and bike riding.

I am a recently diagnosed diabetic I have re learned how to eat properly and have lost 30 pounds in 2 months. My goal is to continue the track I'm on and reverse this. However sadly I will be on medication for life but I really do consider the diagnosis to be a blessing in disguise. I want to be able to move more and keep up with my crazy nieces my most favorite little people in the whole world ❤️❤️ Have a very very happy holiday my friends you are always the highlight of my week and I'm eternally grateful to follow you since the very beginning of your journey 🥰🥰🥰

That mustard pickle sauce is similar to a sauce called picallili, which is a British version of south Asian flavors. They use it as sort of a chutney. Happy Christmas to you all. Thanks Katie and Tim for another wonderful year.

Great taste test, I’m looking to get healthier in the new year. I had a terrible flood in my condo in July, and I’m having to start. Pretty fresh. So I feel the need to Declutter my place and get rid of a lot of things that I don’t use, and bring in only healthy foods to put in my refrigerator that’s been cleaned out.

Merry Christmas, Hespe family!! You've made 2024 very enjoyable and I never miss your videos. My wine collection has grown as a result.🍷 In 2025, I need to lose weight too. I've been comfort eating for over two months and not moving my body much. Firming up at 72 (my birthday was 12/11) is a goal but just being more active will help. It's amazing how being a retired teacher slows you down. Katie, we always appreciated moms like you who volunteered for the happiness of the kiddos. I wish Benson the best holiday season, watching lots of Christmas movies and just hanging out. Happy New Year.🍾🎄💝

Katie, look into using shade cloth for your garden. A lot of the gardening channels I follow, the comtent creators live in very hot climates, and thry swear by shade cloth.

It crosses Christ out of Christmas. “Mas” means celebration and so Christmas is the celebration of Christ. I hope that this makes you more aware and that you would use this as a teaching moment and take it is love. So many use it as an abbreviation without understanding the meaning. Have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Forgot to mention in previous comments that the mustard/dill could be used with mayo for potato salad or dip for chicken nuggies. Make a salad with greens, roasted sweet potato, quinoa and pickled red onions and chicken or chickpeas. Use the mustard dressing on top.

I'll be starting 2025 by having a procedure, followed by a big surgery the next day. I'll have a minimum three month recovery and heading back into chemo in February, so it will be hard, but I want to try to fit in the gym again and try to regain some of the strength that I've lost over the past six years. I'm planning on starting small, but I am hopeful that I can get stronger. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
